I love Dr. Katz, but...
i love this show and really love his brand new new audiobook, but i felt kinda gypped on this one. It is mostly clips from the show, which are all available online for free. very little new material.

Recycled clips from the TV show
Don't buy this! This is not the audio book you want, it is just a collection of recycled clips from the original season, with some short comments after each guest. This is basically the TV show without the animation. But do not fret! There is great, new Dr. Katz material here on audible (compared to the TV show at least), check out "Dr. Katz: The Audiobook" and also "Dr. Katz: The Audio Files". Those are worth your credits, this on the other hand, is going to be disappointing to anyone who has already seen the TV show.

Studio audience breaks the intimate atmosphere
The beauty of Dr. Katz was that sense of intimacy - the imagined office with two people "riffing" on each other. The studio audience on this version is a MAJOR distraction, not only for the listener, but also for the performers. Dr. Katz' timing is especially disrupted by waiting for audience reactions to complete. Sorry, still clever, but not as good as "Dr Katz: The Audiobook".

Good for a short laugh!
I used to watch this cartoon as a teenager long ago. I was super excited to see it on Audible and when it went on sale I decided to take the plunge and it did not disappoint. As an adult, I pick up on a lot more of the subtle hidden humor; life experiences have taught me well. If you could use a good laugh and have an hour and fifteen minutes to waste and are the type of person that enjoys subtle humor then this is worth a few dollars.

Funny Stuff
I have to wonder if the material in these stories is based on real experiences. It’s too humerus to be made up. Listening to these sessions caused me to laugh several times out loud, which is good therapy in itself.

Too funny!
I absolutely loved the cartoon and this listen is just as great, minus the "squiggle vision"
