Much better than the first one!

This book is such a good listen for when you’re running errands, driving your car to work, or simple things like that.
As David mentioned, it doesn’t add anything to your life, but it’s entertaining and light to listen to.
I find myself looking forward to head to the car for work just so I can listen to it.

Cynical humor at its best!

If you are a Spade fan, or even if you’re not, this book is a witty take on life as it was and is now. As a 40 something woman, I appreciated the nostalgic SNL and Farley references, as well as the more poignant moments of Spade’s upbringing and early years. His sarcasm and cynicism are the perfect pair as he describes the many hilarious moments of his life as a “star”. While a bit raunchy at times, this book is worth the price and the listen. It’s laugh out loud funny in a world where we don’t laugh nearly enough. Thanks David Spade!!

Hilarious...

I was laughing so much I think my coworkers in the near by cubicles thought I was crazy. I loved that David Spade narrated the story. You can get his sense of humor. The book was about random life topics sometimes comparing the old way of life versus the new technological era. Super funny!

Why This is Sexy

David gave me cranberry-juice-out-the-nose laughter. Solid listen, way better than a hardcopy. Chapter 6 gave me the nose bleed. And David is sexy. This story is a confirmed panty dropper. 10/10

I suspect this guy laughs at farts

Narration is great, love the sound effects. Honest and funny tho a little too pube centric. Enjoyed.

Amusing, at times laugh out loud funny.

If riding in a '95 Land Cruiser with your bare feet out the window listening to "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" while David Spade tells you funny stories sounds like heaven to you listen to this book!!

Although a longtime Spade fan, not a great book

I'm a HUGE SNL nerd, and the Spade, Farley, etc. years were some of the best. I really enjoyed Spade's sarcastic humor and delivery, both in the show and his movies. However, this book was really uneven, not particularly funny or interesting, and, frankly, mostly made me sad for Spade.

Not 4 Women at Risk of Getting Even More Depressed

The author is obviously capable of being brilliantly amusing, which makes the sting of the content bite even harder. If you are a younger woman, count on being ridiculed as a group, and possibly directly. If you are an older woman, your suspicion that you might not exist will be confirmed.

This audio leaves me feeling sorry for Spade.
He should grow up and get his priorities straight.
Middle aged men chasing girls too young for them ends badly for one you.. can you guess which one?

Sarcasm in Spades, get it

Funny, intelligent and interesting, Spade puts it out there for everyone to hear. Loved it!
