Not your typical audiobook.

When Jerry kicks it off, you think, “Great! More Jerry to come.” But, no. The first part of the book features random thoughts by people no one knows who speak 3-30ish seconds per clip.
It’s disjointed and very boring. Audio quality varies from clip to clip. And literally every 10-30 seconds, the narrator says the name of the person who’s speaking next. After those chapters are done, Jerry announces the name of each person and the clips then transition to excerpts from the show. Those are better and funnier. But make no mistake - this is more of a clinic on what comedy is, what makes comedians great and why they’re unique. If you truly love the mechanics of stand-up, this is your book. If not, you will start to get bored and also get extremely annoyed at the open mouth chewing. It’s definitely unique.

Really enjoyed this on many levels, the comedy, personalities and how they interact was great, not to mention some excellent life perspectives being shared. Well done.

I wish this lasted longer. It was such a fun thing to listen to when I didn’t have a lot of time in the car to really get into a book!

Seinfield hits another home run!

Fantastic book, put together well, lots of fun. Not made I picked this up. Driving or not you’ll enjoy the interesting story’s told by a slew of Hollywood talent that have been through the business.

Unusual style, but who cares.

Listen Jerry, you’re on this planet to express yourself spiritually through your comedy. That’s it.

Great content, poor sound editing

Obviously this is an awesome book. If you like the show, you will love listening to this content, but the sound editing is TERRIBLE. It’s nearly impossible to hear some of the dialogue, and you need to turn the volume alllll the way up. Then the next guest is speaking at a normal volume just a few seconds later and it’s super loud. You need to constantly adjust the volume and you shouldn’t have to. It should have been edited for a consistent volume.

all of Jerry’s work reduced into a single volume and offered as a gift. The release of this book during Covid was an act of service, as much of his comedy has been. This is a book you can listen to over and over . One of the most valuable books in my library.

what a treat that was!

first of all, you get 15 hours or something like that, not five or one,a great value,and then it takes a wonderful show and expresses it into the best 15 hours you're going to have with those headphones on, if you like funny and successful people joking and telling truths about that most coveted career of all, the stand-up comic.
