WONDERFUL

I could listen to this forever and ever and ever and ever.

Brilliant as usual. Please, PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE. Totally fills the Katz/Home Movies void.

So dry. So sharp. So good.

An Incredible Return!

I knew shortly after starting this that it was everything it used to be and more. So many series comebacks across media are so hollow. So forced. So bad. The original series was monumental for me and this one is incredibly familiar but fresh. No one os phoning it in. The writing, performances, and execution are top notch. I am typically hard to get big audible laughs out of but I have literally been bursting out with laughter after pressing Play. I’m overjoyed to have this and I have an odd sense of pride for everyone involved. 5 stars!

Laugh until it hurts

After listening to this book, i started to imagine how nice it would be to have closing music, so you could end conversations at just the right time.

This was a great, easy listen that kept me laughing.

The Katz crew gets an update

I'm a huge fan of the original series, so I couldn't resist this. At first I thought I'd made a mistake after the opening session with Kevin Nealon. Then everything got back to the good old days: Laura needs to leave work early because her DNA result shows she's 30% Dutch, slacker Ben is still considering career choices 20 years later, and Jen Kirkman verbalizes full-throttle angst. I enjoyed most of the comedians, but as in the original, some routines are just not funny. It is a bit more louche and vulgar than the TV series of the 90's. (I wish some male comedians would elevate from a seven year old boy's obsession with toilet humor and sexual innuendo, but that's just me). Pretty good stuff, but you'll have to imagine Dom Irrera's dance moves and crazy clothes. Enjoy.

Satisfying.

I loved this show when it was on Comedy Central, but thought that was all there would ever be. This new audiobook version picks up on the same theme. It translates well without visuals, but does require a little more explicitly stated exposition. Well done and fun to listen to.

Dr. Katz returns

Brilliant audible book. I was a massive fan of the television programme. Dr Katz returns in the modern era. Very funny and is worth a listen to anyone who enjoys comedy.
