Meh...
Honestly, this book had potential, it just didn't quite make it where it could have gone. Most if the story was pretty predictable, and the ending was honestly less than ideal. The story as a whole seemed very rushed; thrown together, and wrapped up quickly, like the author was pressed for a deadline, and just needed to send something in fast. I've enjoyed other books from this author, but this one just fell short.

Different, but did not disappoint.
This installment certainly was more fantastical and supernaural. It pushed my normal preference. But it was really well done! And it was great! My only complaint is that there should be 5 more chapters devoted to the trials and tribulations of how this is slated to play out. We can't just assume happily ever after, because we need to see how the characters make it work. We're left not knowing the fundamentals that will lead to the satisfying ever after, and that's a bummer. 5 more chapters. Please! The story is incomplete.
