Daisy needs her own series

This may be my favorite Lorraine Heath book, yet. As always, Kate Reading’s narration was impeccable.
If the well for book ideas ever runs dry, I would happily suggest a mystery series centered around Daisy’s work as a private inquiry agent.

good story with many twists

The story had an interesting murder mystery plot with many twists. Kate Reading narration made it even better.

Lorraine Heath is a master storyteller

Lorraine Heath is a master storyteller and Kate Reading is a master narrator. You’d think after so many books plot lines would become boring or overdone. Hardly. Story lines and characters are fresh and plot twists are unpredictable. Lorraine Heath books are always on my watch list. Keep them coming.

At Last

This story was very much anticipated and enjoyed. Loved the narrator’s performance and plot of the story was quite enlightening. I highly recommend it!

Outstanding romance.

Beautiful story of two strong and capable people striving to do a better job of life than their predecessors. Trust & hope mixed with a sensual romance and some misguided kindness. K. Reading does a beautiful job bringing the characters to life.

So many twists!!

I love this story! I got so lost in it I forgot what I was doing half the time and other half was muscle memory!

I listened to this book in one day! I didn't want it to end. I will be listening to this book again and again. Well worth the credit! I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I almost gave up on this one....so glad I didn't

What a great story. There was romance, drama and sex. Lorraine Heath is one of my favorite authors and Kate Reading is the perfect complement to LH's stories. I loved the characters....can't wait for the next book in this new series.

Good but...

Characters Didn't grab me. The story gets better later on and the end was pretty good!

Thoroughly Enjoyed

Especially appreciated; the leaning toward a determination to help women and families, trapped in the grips of male prejudices, legitimized by male dominated “legal” courts.
