GOT MORE THAN I EXPECTED

I got this book thinking it was going to be like many of the books I've been listening to recently, (lots of sex some character development ) but this book is great, not only is it a good M/M book but it's a good supernatural book.
The MC's are 2 broken and different men who have a preconceived idea of one another which makes them adversaries, but deep down they're the same and I like that the author gave them time to realize that, yes there is an instant attraction they have but they're also torn between those feelings and the painful history they share, so it's hard for them to allow themselves to give into those feelings completely. The story outside of the romance is just great and I was equally invested in it.
The end had me gripping the edge of my seat, bitting my nails, sweating bullets, however you want to put it, if a book has me talking out loud to the characters then I know I got a good book. The narrators were both spot on with their characters they were so believable. I can't wait for the next book. worth every penny.

An interesting and pleasant surprise...

Tibby, I thoroughly enjoyed the way you wove the story and characters together. An interesting take on the paranormal world of gay vamps and hunters. I look forward to another installment.

Cooper/Tyler, Good job guys! Both of you found a balance that worked off of each other.

Listener, I gave this 5 stars because I appreciate Tibby's imagination into this paranormal world. If you're looking for a different take on Vampires, hunters, witches, and the like, I think you'll enjoy this one. It's a gay romance with the sex acts limited..which is a pleasant surprise and change all unto itself!

I cringed a little everytime Troy was mentioned

The opening is pretty intense. I’m not a fan of torture. I liked the characters and their relationships. A deeper dive into the secondary characters would be welcome but wasn’t necessary to the story. If you are looking for a vampire story that follows traditional canon you would probably not be pleased. The vampires bear no resemblance to any other version I’ve read. The narrators did a very good job.

Great Enemies to Lovers Story

Would you consider the audio edition of Surrender the Dark to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version but I loved the dual narration between Tyler Stevens & Cooper North. They both did a very good job portraying their characters personality.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Surrender the Dark?

I really enjoyed seeing the world through Benjamin's eyes, his unique way of seeing the world around him & then he is able to see with Tzadkiel by his side.

Any additional comments?

Enjoyed this book very much, there were times when I really wanted to knock some sense into Benjamin but he had reasons... Definitely recommend & I hope this turns into a series.
