Common sense

You may already know a lot of the advice and tips shared inside dash diet but common knowledge isn’t always common practice. A worthy read for anyone needing that last minute motivating push to lose weight heading into 2020.

An excellent book

I was expecting a bunch of B.S. since so many diet books meander around the topic with random stories that never seem to get to the point. Dash diet weight loss motivation, on the other hand, is a straight forward and thorough useful health book about how to lower your blood pressure by cleaning up your palette.

There’s plenty of handy pointers in this audiobook; including a complete shopping list of everything you need in your food cupboard to make all those tasty recipes.

Fascinating but too much science weighs this down.

I felt as though a lot of the explanations about the medical science underpinning dash went over my head. Also you don’t need to know why dash works to follow it IMHO.

Useful book

I first learned about the dash diet a month ago, so imagine my surprise when I discovered that it has been around for years. Dash diet motivation has everything you need to know about this highly recommended meal plan. It is simple to follow and will help you avoid those heart-stopping (literally!) processed foods. I wouldn’t exactly call this a must read, more of a do-read if you are interested in dash.

When it all boils down to it these two authors have made a compelling argument as to why DASH is the single best diet out there - while everything else is just some variant on self-flagellation. So buy this book, stick to DASH, and start to see the difference it’ll make to your body.

I liked this

Thank goodness there are no iffy ideas or alternative medicine to be found in the dash diet. Instead there’s more than enough advice in this book for someone looking to take a whole new approach to their health.

Start the New Year with a New You

I stumbled across the dash diet for the first time a few days ago and was immediately curious about one of the few diet plans recommended widely by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI). So as far as I’m concerned this book is just what I need to start off the new year with a healthier me!

Dash is A+!!

No-hype diet.

Anyone can start dash and see results. Cut back on fatty foods, cut way way back on salt, and lean into more moderate balanced daily eating. Reasonable advice for anyone at any age, regardless of their health background.

An honest look at dash

Repetitive recipe reading

I got this book more for the recipes than for the research. And all its done is prove what I knew already: recipes are meant to be written down on good old fashioned paper and ink.

Easy lifestyle changes

The best diet is the one you will STILL be on 12 months down the line. DASH diet ticks that box and the whole meal plan is easy enough (the recipes sound simple to make).
