This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Best. Unmatched.
Finding a better recording of Call of the Wild is impossible. Bikel’s emotionally flexible voice is like a dark river over smooth rocks.
Writing appropriate praise for this recording would take me pages and pages. A masterwork.
All audiobook readers would be humbled by hearing this work of love.
