Music Background Amplifies Beauty and Truths of Psalms and Proverbs

All of human experience is encapsulated in the Psalms and Proverbs. When our own fears devour our faith and strength, we can seek God in His Word and hear how He increases our faith and renews our strength! It helps me to stop the audio to review an insight and jot down which chapter is being read so I can look it up later. Also, I use a study Bible to understand difficult passages or strange words. (I recommend the MacArthur Study Bible). This audio presentation of the Psalms and Proverbs is exquisite! The musical background is varied and artfully woven with the meaning of the text. Also, there are multiple narrators, which enriches the listening experience.

Bikel is best; Tabori is good but a bit "dramatic"

All in all, this is a very good recording.

Generally, I don't prefer background music, but for a recording that has it, this is good.

Psalms and Proverbs Everyday

I wake up and began my day with this book. I love how it helps me meditate on the Lord early. The narrators are good also. I purchased another and the reading does not engage me as this one does. It is read meaningfully. It is a great way to start your day. I know it is KJ version but it is good.

A Gift that Improves

I find myself listening more rather than less. (Which is the case with most books.)
It is improving me. Causing me to consider "Who" I represent before I speak/act.
More smiles to the day and a deeper understanding of my God's love.

Possibly the best buy I ever.....

Ps. Have gotten used to the voice for the Proverbs, so am changing 'Performance' to 5 stars.

Beautiful and inspirational... I like to listen to this on the way to work early in the morning and it brings peace to my heart in a lines soul with the day
