Publisher's summary

Shortly after launching her RedPillBlack YouTube channel in July 2017, Candace Owens became one of America’s most prominent conservative voices and a favorite target of the left.

Donald Trump and Kanye West expressed their admiration for Owens, while prominent conservatives like Charlie Kirk and Dennis Prager brought her into their organizations. Owens launched the Blexit movement to encourage black voters to leave the Democrat plantation.

Today, the mainstream media calls her a white nationalist, even though she is the black granddaughter of a Southern sharecropper. Some conservatives, on the other hand, believe she will one day be President.

In this biography, Richard West provides Candace Owens’ life story, showing how she evolved from a victim-mentality liberal to a victor-mentality conservative. She went from being “a girl who started with nothing” to a true American success.

Poor narration but great book

Coby Allen did a very poor job reading this. He mispronounced many names and words. There were obvious breaks in the narration where he must have started over. Seems like he read it for first time and recorded in his basement and no one edited or checked it before release.

I love the way Candice Owens thinks

I had a hard time putting this book down. I have seen Candice Owens on tv from time to time. I am in total agreement with her assessment of the current condition of race relations , politics, and family. I agree people should come to their own conclusions based on life experience. Use your common sense. I would like give a thumbs up to Candice's grandfather. He sounds like a terrific human being and mentor.

Candace Owens for President

What a fascinating and inspirational biography of an eloquent, intelligent young woman who is impacting major change in the conversation about race and racism in the U.S. and abroad. A black millennial who has experienced racism since childhood, Owens has used adversity as a catalyst to seek truth and encourage black Americans to reject victim mentality.

Chapters in this book are short and easy to digest. The author's style is concise and fast-paced.

I enjoyed this audiobook immensely and look forward to reading more by this author.

Content Enlightening; Recording poor

Many times audio drops mid sentence, before skipping to the next 30 -/+ minutes... Richard West presented a good overview of Candace Owens.

Speaking Her Truth

We need more people willing to be unafraid to speak up for truth. The media is so slanted and blatantly authoring lies to the public. Too many read and listen to news believing what they hear and read. We need more like Candace Owens to stand up and have their voices heard!! A wonderful role model.

Good to know!!

I found this book more complete about the life of young Candace Owens than she included in her autobiography "Blackout."
I liked it.

Facinating story

I enjoyed this book and have a lot of respect for Candance Owens. Unfortunately the narrator struggled with a lot of the names and words and there was not a flow in the narration. The audio was also poor on my phone.

Young, Gifted & Black

Before this year, I'd never really heard of Candace Owens (only in connection with Kanye West). However, I decided to investigate what she's all about for myself. Please people don't drink the Kool-Aid of the media or the Dems.
