But if there’s one man who can help her heal, spirit and soul, it’s Tomas. For he may be ruthless and barbaric in his work, but Caroline brings out a softness in him that will make you swoon! I just LOVED how mirrored in his gaze he made her see herself for the beautiful woman she was, a woman who was more than worthy of love. HIS LOVE. And he would STOP AT NOTHING to avenge the tormentors of her past!

Gah! I also ADORED this heroine! While on the surface Caroline might seem scarred and vulnerable, yet despite her crippling insecurities, she is “no submissive wallflower,” and has a sassy, bubbly side, which I found utterly endearing. She has been locked away in an ivory tower all her life yet being absconded from the only home she’s ever known was still far from easy. But with Tomas’s strict yet tender loving guidance she finally learns how to fly free. And as the story evolves we come to see her blossom and emerge as a woman of strength, courage and conviction.

Ultimately, I thought these two made a PERFECT match and even though they have plenty of palpable tension and obstacles to overcome, I relished watching Caroline slowly but surely win the heart of her growly beast! However, it’s far from smooth sailing because a war between brotherhoods is coming which will ultimately end in bloodshed! But of course good triumphs over evil in the end!

NARRATION:
Once again Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott left me enraptured from start to finish. Mr. Ross’s deep, rumbly Russian brogue gave me goosebumps and he embodied this Pakhan’s commanding persona brilliantly, infusing this dangerously possessive anti-hero with an intoxicating blend of dominance, virility, gentle heartedness and PRIMAL sex appeal. As for Ms. Kennicott, she continues to astound me with her sensitive, deeply nuanced performances and her portrayal of Caroline, in all her beautifully broken glory, was MESMERIZING! She brought out not only the heroine’s sweetness, fragility and heartbreaking vulnerability but also her grit, resilience and fire! Together these narrators breathed life into these beloved characters and made this thrillingly sexy Ruthless Doms story truly unforgettable!

Jane Henry never disappoints with her excellent writing skills. Another great sexy Dom story! Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott bring excitement with their narration of it. I adore the accents Wen can do with his skills. Kai is the perfect mate for him!

Tomas & Caroline!

Every time I listen to Jane Henry, I think this my favorite. Well, once again, she has knocked the last one off and now Tomas is the one I love! This story has a little of everything. It's a dark, passionate, disciplined and the best part, full of love. Tomas, the Pakhan of the Boston Bratva has made a deal, and the most important part of the deal is the woman he is taking as his wife. Caroline was born in the Bratva, but has had some devastating experiences making her think she is damaged. But is she? What does Tomas see? This story had me from the very start. Tomas is so dominant, so masculine, so powerful, you can feel it. He is one of those characters that you are not sure if you will like. Caroline is insecure, yet spunky and I love her. She is the person you can relate to, not thinking you are the most beautiful, that something about you may not be appealing. But what we get is a couple with explosive chemistry and a thrilling story of power and intrigue. It's one that you will start to listen to and not be able to stop. Yes, it's that good!

Now Henry has selected her narrators carefully, because Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott bring this story out in a way that is like a movie in your mind. Ross brings his Russian accent in, oozing that power and domination that Tomas has. He is a man you don't want to mess with, and there is no mistaking his control while Wen Ross portrays him. To soften the story, Kai Kennicott gives Caroline her voice. I love her ability to attack her enemies one minute with a vengeance like no other woman, and submit in the next like a good little kitten. This couple gets it, and their performance is incredible.

Another awesome audio book

I loved reading this story by Jane Henry when it came out and Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott just brought it to life. Make sure you have plenty of time to listen to this because it's well worth it.

Jane Henry has done it again! This series is absolutely amazing!!
The characters are ruthless yet lovable. The storylines are always intriguing with the power of the Bratva’s family and the loyalty they have for each other. I never thought of myself as a fan of mafia style genres until Jane Henry.
And don’t get me started on the narration. Kai Kennicot & Wen Ross are simply put, “freaking amazing”. The heart and soul they put into these characters along with the Russian accents are “Beyond Measure!” This is book 2 but is a standalone although I highly recommend this series!

Terrific Story & Narration🎧Captivating & Heartfelt

I loved everything about this book, from Jane Henry’s writing to the story and characters she created to Wen Ross & Kai Kennicott’s duet narration. This is he 2nd “Ruthless Doms” book, it can be enjoyed on its own but I do recommend reading or listening to the first book too, it is just as awesome as this one. This book is Tomas and Caroline’s story, Tomas, the Pakhan, a mob leader, was introduced in the 1st book I found him to be intriguing then and even more so in this book when more about him is revealed. Caroline did not have an easy life, she was born into the Bratva life and lives under the rule of her brother Aren who treats her like crap. He also turns a blind eye when she complains about one of his men, Andros. When Tomas decides he wants a wife by his side he calls in a debt owed by Aren and he arranges a marriage for his sister. Caroline has mixed feelings, happy to be out of that house but unsure of this arrangement and what is expected of her. Tomas really surprised me, the alpha Dom has a softer side when it comes to Caroline. He was strict with her but he saw how damaged she was. I loved how everything plays out in this book, there is never a dull moment, with plenty of drama, angst, action, twists, some thrilling and suspenseful moments and some hot romance. I was very happen for how things turned out for Caroline, she deserved a HEA, as does Tomas. Thank you for another great story & emotional rollercoaster ride.

I listened to the Audible edition, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are talented narrators and voice artists. They continue to bring these characters to life, giving them their own voices and personality, as well as heart and attitude. They do a great job portraying the characters and speaking with different accents. I loved Wen’s Tomas and Kai’s Caroline, they sounded as I pictured them to. They are entertaining storytellers and their duet performance enhances the story to another level of greatness. Thank you for another great listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your work.

Great book!

I really enjoyed this book. This was my first with these narrators and it will not be my last. They were absolutely amazing!! I love a good Russian mafia story but sometimes the accents to listen to it are difficult but this was really good. I just wish the story was longer. I loved both the MC. Highly recommend!!

WOW, WOW, and more WOW!

The Ruthless Doms series just keeps getting better and better. I was so excited to listen to Tomas' story after hearing about him in Nikolai's book Priceless. He struck a chord with me. He is a strong, resilient man. Tough, yet has a big heart. Caroline doesn't know what to expect when she is forced into an arranged marriage with the Packan. She definitely doesn't expect Tomas. Scared both inside and out, she melts the heart of the fierce Russian warrior, who will do anything to avenge the wrongs that have been done to his new wife.
The threesome of Jane Henry, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are explosive together. I will listen to anything they do together. Beyond Measure was simply fantastic. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Wen's brooding Russian accent is just perfection. The emotional depth that Kai brings to the female characters are off the charts. I adore this series. I can't wait for more! They are just perfection.

Fantastic Read

I enjoy this author's writing style. She writes Russian mafia dark romance well. I loved
Tomas from the beginning because he accepted Caroline and was not bothered by her scar.
The narrators did a fabulous job. They conveyed genuine Russian accents when needed which made the book real. I would highly recommend this book.

Love Jane’s Mafia books!

This book was beyond amazing. I love Jane’s books and her creative mind. Alpha bad boys, sexy, demanding, intense. What more can you ask for. This book took me from the very first page and kept its claws and me until the end of the book. Once again Kai & Wen did a phenomenal job narrating.

I really enjoyed this book, great chemistry and passion. The story is sweet and intense, I was so engrossed, couldn’t put it down. I love a man who defends and loves his women to the end of the earth. I loved the ending.

Natural dom and sub

The writer managed to write an organic bdsm story. Nothing forced in clubs and stuff. Real alpha, I fell in love with this couple and how crazy and nuts their world is. keeping it. Give me a Russian like this one just one day please!

Disappointed

Having read the reviews I expected more. I was so disappointed with this story, very vague and no real substance. It’s a shame because the narration was superb.

It could have been fabulous if a little more thought put into it.

Brilliant

Oh I love Jane’s writing style. It never gets old. I really liked the characters and the chemistry they share. Kai and Wen are amazing together.

Listen to it

This is one of those books that will keep you up at night desperate to finish. It’s powerful and intense and should be enjoyed. Absolutely amazing narration as always

Of i could give this 6 stars i would

It is passionate and heart warming a true page turner and the best Brava novel i have ever read. It definitely warrants a re-read and had me completely and utterly hooked.. It truly is the best
