Honestly, I’m enamored entrapped enthralled

This book is so f*ing good, such a slow burn but so so good. I randomly picked it because I liked the voice of the narrator and it’s been maybe my favorite book this year. Please read it, so good

Self sabotage at its finest.

Okay. So overall the story is good... if you overlook the female leads constantly putting herself down. So much that it's literally her putting shackles on herself magically then complaining and tantrum throwing because she's shackled.

As a trauma survivor, I get it. Honestly. But there has to be a point. A point where it sinks in. A point where she takes hold of those shackles and takes them off... This book isnt that. It is a fest of nerves, ignoring the fact that now that she is free, its herself digging the hole. Its tantrums and repressed love, and bad choices all around.

Loved it! Great slow burn *chef's kiss. However, FMC was insufferable the whole book. Too much complaining. Let's see where the next one takes us
