Finally a clever and witty FMC

The clever banter throughout the book made this a really fun read. The story plot and world building is solid and a new perspective. On the human/demigod realm possibly more so, surprisingly. But the FMC being so smart, strong, adaptive, clever, morally gray and funny af is a refreshing change. I’m tired of naive heroines.

Loved Daisy’s Story!

Completely captivated! A must read!! So freaking excited to be reading Daisy’s story! Not so patiently waiting for the next book…!!

Everything

As always these tales come to life and are performed so perfectly! I could feel the tension building the emotions bubbling and the confusion swirling. This spin off was more than anyone could’ve asked for. Just the right amount of tease with emotional turmoil performed amazingly and written just as beautifully.

My only issue is that the producers don’t use casting for this author from the go. They end up doing it later when the audiobook does well.

Confused, but enjoyed it.

I wish I had known it was tied to her Demigods series before starting! I was fairly confused to say the least, but enjoyed the plot and buildup. I already had the series as my next listen, so it worked out in the end. Spice is on the lower side, maybe a 🌶️🌶️ out of 5, but the tension and banter is fantastic. Worth the listen, can’t wait for the second one!
