A good twist !

aside from the insufferably, spineless fmc, i rather enjoyed this book. i wouldn’t call this enemies to lovers tho, more like mildly annoyed or inconvenient, but still a pretty interesting read. i wish the fmc would use her powers more and stop being a doormat tho

I absolutely loved this series! I was so happy to be able to listen to the audiobook. Absolutely had my feet kicking with Draven’s scenes and the storyline kept me entertained. I’ve already binged read the other two books and can’t wait for book 4 later this year!

MMC made it worth it

FCM was a little annoying but it feels like its part of her growth. Now our MMC was worth learning about. Wish this book had his POV as well. I really did enjoy the storyline. I can't wait for the next book. Wish it was out on audio as well.

ADDICTIVE!! Couldn’t stop reading!!

I wish i read this sooner!! Sooo addictive and face paced! Every chapter was so good!! I can’t wait for the rest of the series!!

Why did she use so many WoW names and references lol

So far pretty good but why Azeroth, Ysera, etc? I feel like come up with your own names? Or at least borrow from multiple sources names that arent do ubiquitous to World of Warcraft lol. Someone played the dragon expansion? Otherwise enjoyable so far.

Looking for your next read after The Empyrean series? Look no further. Empire of Flame and Thorns was like The Hunger Games meets high fantasy—with dragon shifters, fae, and jaw-dropping twists—and it was glorious. The tension between the MMC and FMC was absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of enemies-to-lovers turmoil, laugh-out-loud bickering, and undeniable chemistry. This book truly had it all—action, magic, romance, and a plot that refuses to let you put it down. I’m beyond thrilled I picked it as my next book club read, because I cannot wait to hear everyone’s reactions to that ending. I know it had me absolutely speechless, jaw on the floor, and desperate for the next book.

Enemies to Lovers MUST READ

if you’re a fan of a fast paced action packed fantasy romance then this is A NEED! Also the narrator was phenomenal and I’m picky about narrators. If you want a TRUE enemies to lovers with a dragon shifter MMC and a feisty FMC fae rebel then this will be perfect for you! Can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out on audio!!

the boredom

boring.. never went anywhere. no tension no compelling characters. no wow moments. just disappointed. sad
