It’s one thing to read about witches, it’s another thing to discover you are one.

Glasgow law student David Hunter is drifting through life and feels something is missing. When on a night out someone tries to kill him and he discovers he is from a long line of witches known as Dream Dancers, his life is turned upside down.

Now David has unwittingly exposed himself to a world of powerful witches, clandestine government agencies, and a fight to protect the Akashic records.

Is a life filled with magick really his true calling in life?

If you love witches, magick, and conspiracy theories, you’ll love the first book in this fast-paced supernatural thriller series.

My only complaint is that it’s just too damn short; however, it’s a good first book to a series. I love magic, with a bit of romance, intrigue and mystery. I understand that Kindle has the rest of the series. At 70, I prefer to listen since my eyes tire easily, but I’ll just scurry on over to Kindle until more Audiobooks come out. Great story! Great narration!

Best story I’ve listened to in a while!

The narration was top notch. As an American the Scottish accent along with the story really helped me feel I was in the pages.

Love the Scottish accent

Overall - these books are interesting. However, the author spends much of this book and the ones that follow telling us what the characters feel and believe instead of showing character development through descriptive prose, interesting interactions with other characters or other more subtle and creative ways. Listening to these books is more like attending a lecture than enjoying a good storytelling.
