AMAZING narrator and story

Just the fact that there was ONLY ONE narrator and she gave every single character a voice with a different feeling and color... I can't explain, but I really felt every one of the characters and their personalities.

And the story, the characters, the scenarios. Everything is so beautiful and well written. I really felt the theme about loss and grief since I have experienced it myself.

Not predictable nice twists

I read a lot do often I know the ending before I get there!! This was charming warm and enjoyable but I didn’t KNOW the end before the last chapter wonderful read.

Good story. Mystery + Magic

Good story. Witches, it seems, lose parents and grow up with aunts. There is a _Practical Magic_ vibe to the set up, but the story goes in a different direction entirely. I enjoyed it.

I don't think the reader is the right one for this author. You know that kid in class who could read the assigned text aloud in class but didn't put emphasis in the right places? That's what this felt like. The voice was clipped, but the text had more fluid wording.I think a more drawling American accent might have fit better. This reader's voice is not terrible, but didn't quite fit. Still worth the listen though.

I enjoyed the presence of the animals here. I like that the protagonist went everywhere by bicycle in her small town. These were fun touches.

Loved this one! Funny, heartfelt, and wholesome—a truly cozy read.

Narrators really make or break audio books for me, and I loved this narrator! She has a soothing voice, and changed the voices up for the different characters just enough to enjoy, without it being too much.

This is story is a murder mystery mixed with magic. It is beautifully written. A real page turner.
