It's a keeper!

If you enjoy time travel stories to even the faintest degree, then you will be more than entertained by this book!

I loved it!!!! The best one yet & would like more of them!!!! I love time travel stories. This one didn't have any romance in it which I really liked!!!!! x

wonderful reading of characters!

the reader did a fabulous job separating characters. the story line kept me on my toes not knowing who did what. it was great!

A Victorian Mystery Adventure!

This book continues Kelley Armstrong’s wonderful writing and characters that seem easy and familiar. Kate Handford’s performance was fantastic, as well. My ONLY issue is that the audio levels were kind of all over the place. Parts would get very loud and then abruptly go very soft and then loud again. It was distracting but not enough to stop listening.

Beyond that, I very much enjoyed this story and how lovely the characters are with the protagonist and each other. I cannot wait for the next book!!

Next book please.

The book was overall amazing. Love how the narrator switches her accent between internal thoughts and her verbal words. They’re some funny moments too.
I want to know what’s next.

Exceeds expectations

Exactly what it says on the cover. Good fun if you want historical fiction, police procedural, and a strong female protagonist. Unlike a lot of “fun” fiction, the female protagonist’s interactions with other characters might actually pass the Bechdel test.

couldn't put it down!

Pleasantly surprised. it was a great read. Narrator did well with all of the characters can't wait to find out more and hope to see a little romance!

slow to start

keep going it will get better. you will get invested in the characters just will take several chapters. really happy the author left it open for more books.

narration was great, storyline twisted and kept my interest, different from anything else I've read/listened to in a while!
