A suspenseful story from beginning to end

This book series was exciting from start to finish. I was impressed by the knowledge of topics and character development.

Attention grabbing

After listening to book one, I had to move to book two. I really hope Jessica and David have more adventures because I have already gotten hooked on how well they work together solving supernatural crimes.

Worthy of a TV series!

I love the details and descriptions of the characters, the adventures and history.
It's so easy to connect with the characters and feel the emotions.

I like these stories generally.

I generally enjoyed the entire series, even though there were times the writer's seemingly male feminist/materialist views tend to get a bit preachy and tired. I'm so over being barked at about how bad religion is and how poor women have been oppressed by men to stifle their power blah blah blah, and I'm a woman! There's always a female offended when a man wants to protect them. It's ridiculous. These mid-story rants and declarations come off as a desperate attempt to make women like the books more, but for me, it's a negative. That's just my opinion though.
