Frankly, I thought I would fly here, sell the heap of bricks, and head back home to a life that I…well, I was comfortable with at the very least. Instead, the people of Loren Brae are in trouble, and it appears that as the new owner of the castle, I’m next in line to reinstate the magickal Order of Caledonia. Which means, first, I have to learn to believe in magick. And secondly, I have to train to become a knight.

And my trainer? None other than Lachlan Campbell, the grumpiest man I’ve ever had the annoyance of meeting. It’s a toss-up who is pricklier, Lachlan, or his kilted Chihuahua, Sir Buster. Not only does Lachlan think that I can’t hack it, but he also resents my claim on his castle.

If only he didn’t look so devastatingly hot in his kilt.

Now, I’m stuck proving myself to him, all while trying to figure out how to help my new friends in Loren Brae.

I can’t say I loved this enough!

Wow- my ears are still buzzing with the faint sound of bagpipes. Where have these graphic audio books been hiding? I think towards the end they said it was like watching a movie with your ears. The story was great with quirky, fun, & serious bits. The narration & banter between characters was super. You just need to try this. It might not be your cup of tea but several books I’ve been reading could have been so MUCH better in this format. I’m definitely listening to the rest of this series… and am going to explore more titles like this. What a great escape it was- & ended too soon.

the background noise

Couldn't get past the background noise of mood music when unnecessary and cloping footsteps enough to listen to the story. Dramatized stories not for me. liked the story which I had previously read.

Love this story with Graphic Audio!

I really enjoyed this story and the performances. I enjoyed the accents and how the main character didn’t over analyze and do a lot of second guessing - she had a little bit, which is normal in life, but I liked that she would pull herself together and move on… and I love the romance ;)

Lovely cast

I really enjoyed the full-cast recording, but I have to mention that the music is REALLY loud in comparison.

The immersion was amazing

I loved every min of the story, it was gripping and funny. the plot was great and the actors were amazing!

Wild Scottish Knight by Tricia O'Malley is a fantastic read that takes you on a journey through the beautiful landscapes of Scotland. The book mixes romance, adventure, and a bit of magic, making it hard to put down.

The Wild Scottish Knight* in Graphic Audio format is an absolute masterpiece! It offers an immersive and enthralling experience that goes beyond traditional audiobooks. It is narrated an incredibly talented cast of voice actors who bring each character to life.

All of the characters, but especially the MCs Sophie annd Lachlan, are well-developed and relatable. The connection between the MCs is strong, making their story heartwarming and exciting. O'Malley's writing brings Scotland to life with vivid details, almost making you feel like you're there.

The plot moves at a good pace with surprises that keep you engaged until the end. If you enjoy romance, adventure, or just want to escape into a well-crafted world, Wild Scottish Knight is a must-read. It's a memorable story that stays with you long after you finish it.

Netflix? Prime? Where are you guys at?! Bring this amazing series to the screen!!

Background music

The background music used doesn’t match the story. The story was better as originally recorded.

Overall would recommend but there are a few things to warn about

While I really liked the story, and the voice characters, the background music at times took away from the story. There was much humor that made me laugh out loud at times. FMC and MMC have many struggles due to past hurts and takes up much of the story, I did enjoy their relationship trials.

Good Story

It was a good story. I liked the aspect of it. It’s not a slow burn, which I found interesting. Intrigued to see how the series plays out but a little disappointed as I wished the smut could have been at least a little more descriptive.
