Dave this book is a disappointment. It’s almost the exact same content from your other books, it’s good info but you’ve already covered it. However my biggest complaint is that it’s all information from 30,000 feet up. Instead of just just saying “use resistance bands for better results” it would be so helpful to get specifics like an actual workout program that I could do using bands for better results. It leaves me with so many unanswered questions. How much time should I take on the reps? How many reps and sets should I do? Before doing a sprinting workout should I warm up? If you want to write book after book, why not write a book that goes deeper instead of book after book at 30,000 feet up. Check out Arnold’s Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding, that’s a health book that dives in deep on specifics and is super helpful. Just my two cents, thanks for all your work I appreciate it none the less.

This gives me the chance to look into what might work for me. I appreciate how the book is structured for obtaining a specific goal and all the latest things that will get me there.

I bought both the hard copy and the Audible version of this book, and I jumped on Audible within hours of it landing in my Library. Have you ever gone to a movie and left with your imagination so stimulated that your body was filled with motivation and energy? That is what this book does, ten-fold. A non-fiction book, yet I was more excited about its content than any good fiction and I had to force myself to take a break from listening. I have listened to only a few chapters, yet I have found “Smarter Not Harder” to be packed with so much valuable information that I was often hitting rewind to be certain I had fully absorbed what I was being taught. This is stuff you will not find elsewhere, or at least not all in one place, and you would have to hunt for most of it – unless you already read Dave’s books and follow his teachings. Dave Asprey could have reserved this precious knowledge and these “secrets” for himself and his inner circle or sold it only to the wealthiest of clients, instead he shares the fruits of his years of unrelenting self-teaching and experimentation with the world. This is a gift. Read and/or listen to this book – all of Dave’s books - and you will gain more value than you can imagine. Thank you, Dave, for your lead in helping people understand that they can take control of their health and make their lives infinitely better. I am a happy and grateful recipient of your gifts of knowledge that helped pull me out of deep grief, lose a lot of weight and regain much of my mental and physical health to which I had unwittingly done great damage.
