Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! good overall

this was a cool story. narration was good. recommend spending a credit on it. can't wait to read the rest in the series

loved the book but female voice actor is not good

LOVED the book, but the female voice actor performamce is not great and often took me out of the story. her acting and pronunciations are often weird, constantly saying the male main characters name as RAX not REX. it was disappointing.

I smiled and chuckled more while listening to this than almost any I have. Just past the middle it stopped being so fun but by then I was completely wrapped up in what turned out to be an interesting and well written story. Yep, time to buy the next one. Peace

I enjoyed this journey for the characters. The storyline was whimsical with spicy notes added in here and there. I never want this series of books to end!

5++ Outstanding STARS

Jason Clarke & Neva Nevarre brought this already perfect story to life for me, now for the second or third time (I've lost track lol), and made me laugh even harder and swoon for the longest time! I only thought I loved this book until I got ahold of the audio! PERFECT!!

STORY REVIEW & RATING: First READ & REVIEWED in 2020

Rating this book 5 stars just doesn't seem like enough. This story was epically glorious on multiple levels ! The amount of time I spent laughing and smiling while reading this book should be criminal. I extended my reading time of this book to two days just so I could feel total happiness a little bit longer. The world is in crisis right now and Annika Martin has come to the rescue!

Listen, I've been reading Annika's work for a lot of years. I've met her in person. She is one of my all time favorite humans. Don't mistake my praise for this book because I genuinely like the woman because believe me when I say that if this book was any less than absolute perfection, I would tell you. Honestly, it is absolute perfection.

I'm not going to give you plot points on the story because I want every word, every page, every scene, every everything to unfold for you organically and without prejudice. Well, except for the part up there where I told you it's perfect LOL I do however want to touch on one thing. This is a romantic comedy but that's not all it is. This story, especially Rex , was like the metamorphosis of a butterfly. If you pay close attention, the growth and evolvement that Rex goes thru in this story was like watching a butterfly come to life. His grumpy, self-involved self went thru distinct stages of growth that made the story stand out for me. It wasn't just a romance journey it was way more and I hope all of you decide to take this ride because it is just excellent! #TRUST

This was the perfect kind of fun that I needed. It was fairly low angst, more of a comedy-slash-mystery, and I was totally into it. It helps that I'm a Soap Opera fan and could remember some of the storylines and characters that came up. I wasn't sold on the audiobook voicing for the heroine, but it wasn't because it was bad, it just didn't fit how I thought the voice would be. I liked seeing all of the girl gang, even though I haven't read all of their stories

Great story

I loved the characters especially the female . She was so comfortable with herself and so confident. I loved the male character also for his ability change and appreciate his fake fiancée. I loved the narrators, Jason Clarke is one of my favorite snd listening to Neva is like sitting with one of my girlfriends and having them tell me about their experiences. She has such a real down to earth voice

One of those books I didn't want to put down.

Loved the book. Another book in this series that I enjoyed. Its worth the credit!
