Publisher's summary

As reward for stopping a serial killer and restoring the Kingdom of Vlachia to its rightful ruler, Dragozin Hector and his queen dragon, Karalti, have earned a noble title, a castle, and land of their own.

There’s only one problem – it’s occupied. By a freaking elder vampire.

Not only has the vampire unleashed the blight of undeath across the land, but Hector's nemesis is on the warpath. His mission? To steal Karalti, kill a god, and use their combined power to become the Insane God-Emperor of Archemi.

Hector never wanted to go back to war, not even in a video game. But now, he must fight to claim his territory from Ol’ Fangface before everything is taken from him - his dragon, his territory, and the woman he loves.

Loving the story

This series continues so well it's like watching a TV series grow the characters and storyline. The narration is again the best out there, the twists and turns the story takes makes you want to continue immediately and the bonus is the soundtrack/effects make the immersion even better

wait wait wait, what?

I mean, the story is okay, but there’s too much talking which makes the listening kinda boring. also there’s too much curses.
and where’s the part where he fights the warsinger?

Fun Listen

I found this book too be a reasonable listen oh, I would have gave sound booth five stars, but they have a tendency to make the characters whisper at times that makes it extremely hard to listen to while you're driving.
sadly it looks like I'll have to wait till the next books comes out to continue the series...
the cliffhanger was expected oh, but it did have several unexpected spots which made it more interesting, especially the twist at the end.
we'll be waiting for the next books to come out someday soon.

Epic!

Great story and narration!

The gang is back and stuff is about to get even crazier! Budding romance, angsty dragons, cheaty-overpowered enemies, and epic battles are only a taste of the pie in this episode (aka book 3 of the series)! How will the Wild Bunch make out this time?

Soundbooth continues to do an outstanding job with the narration - closer to an audio play really!

I really enjoyed how things progressed in this one - it had me on the edge of my seat at times.

I can't wait for the next one to come out!

Another good entry

More of Hector and group doing what they do. Not a terrible amount to say. The book is as direct continuation of story from the last book, you know what to expect.

The narrators were great once again. The sounds in the book weren't as great as the previous book and a few of them were pretty bad.

A few more sexual scenes than the previous book in case people care about that.

Best yet!

No huge spoilers, but the undead legion thing is always a favorite of mine. it's also hilarious to hear SBT doing Slavic accents. This book is worth getting the series, I can't wait to chew through the next one. great job!!

the heat is on

Not only do the stakes of the story rise, but so do the love lives of some of the characters. There are some scenes while I wouldn't go so far as to call them graphic I would call them more sexually descriptive than anything we have seen in other books. There are not many scenes, but there are a few that some readers may want a forewarning of.

That being said, the main quest seems to be a simple one on its face: go and claim the land awarded by the King. But not so fast, there are major complications. Tens of thousands between here and there. This is a story about fighting unsurmountable odds, and once again the story took twists and turns that I wasn't expecting. I really enjoyed the development of the characters we know, and some new ones we meet in this book.

I can't wait to find out what happens next, both in the 'on the ground' plotlines, and in the greater ones slowly developing over the series.
