It's good

I have listened to better and worse. Story is good and the narration is awesome. The MC whines alot and refuses to see things from another characters eyes and crys through advice, but other than that its good.

Amazing series. 4 books that will keep you hooked

The story is super captivating. I can say after the 80 hours of listing the next book I plan on buying is the 5 book in the series. The MC is interesting without being OP. The author walks well the fine line between Supreme cosmic powers and the MC just winning everything be default. I like the way level-ups happen later on in the series. Highly recommend this pack.

Entertaining

The story was enjoyable. The protagonist is endearing in his efforts to do the right thing.

Great Concept but needs work

The main concept of this fantasy world is really good, for the most part the story is OK, but only just. I can’t find any info on the author but I’d bet they are foreign because they don’t understand past tense. They seriously need to spend some time editing or hire someone to proof read. The fact that they obviously don’t do that makes me question how much the author really cares about their own story.

So my tldr of it all is that if you can overlook bad writing and poor grammar then you’ll likely love the series. If those things bother you though then it’s a hard sell.

Great concept

Very interested to see how big the world will get. While this arc did end, So many questions still to answer

Poorly Written

When I encounter someone's amateur work and it contains basic mistakes like withheld exposition and unrewarding point of view changes, I offer advice on some of the best books for new writers and suggest they seek feedback from other writers before publishing. This is a self-published work seeking payment for access to the audiobooks though, so it's no longer an amateur work, but instead a highly lacking professional work.

There are some great ideas for game mechanics in here, so I would be interested in what they can create after studying how to write. I suggest spending your credit elsewhere though.

I don't write reviews

DISCLAIMER: This is solely my opinion and i made it roughly 5 hours in before returning a book for the first time ever.......You may love these books and my opinion shouldn't sway you one way or the other, Give it a shot and see for yourself.

Here's some notes i took with my mouth agape at how much i disliked this in every conceivable metric:

Cartoonishly evil bad guys
Earth origin included solely so author could use references instead of lore/world building(lazy writing)
Dual life Memories? 0 explanation(SOUL CONFUSION?)
Conversation is so forced and clipped....author clearly struggles with expressing any form of naturally sounding conversation
You guys ever heard of the amazingly popular and totally natural sounding Regional labyrinth solving tournaments we earthlings love? MC took 2nd place!
If you could have anything improved for your birthday would it be a f**king river pebble?

There's more but my point is made in so far as storytelling(5hrs in). Narration is incredibly annoying and lacks inflection and subtlety.

The concept actually isn't awful, just horribly executed....again....in my opinion.

When i get to whatever afterlife exists i know i will need to answer to whatever god, or gods, or the nothing you believe in as to the reason i wasted 5 hours of my existence on this.
