When entering the second realm they came to understand their character sheets, and part of the system that is called the ten realms. A place that the strong make the rules and the weak cling to them for protection and hope that they might be left in peace.
They passed through the trials of the Beast Mountain Dungeon, taking control of it and becoming the leader of nearly 200 people.
Now in command of the Alva Dungeon and looking to forge a new future, they need more power, mana stones, dungeon cores, monster cores, if not then the Dungeon will stop functioning and they will need to relocate once again.
As they ascend to the second realm, Erik and Rugrat need to grow their skills, gain information, and find a dungeon. It’s hardly ever that easy.

Keeps getting better!
This series is awesome. I love both of the main characters and their personalities, I love the adventure and exploration of the new realm, I love the base-building of Alva Dungeon. I think the Litrpg elements are balanced quite well, you aren't beaten over the head with stat sheets and level ups every paragraph, but enough to feel like you are inside a game world.
This book easily is one of my top recommendations for Litrpg fans!
Great job Todd Menesses! Hurry up and narrate the next books!!

top litrpg series in my opinion
I love this genre and would rate this series in the top 5. the characters are ex mercenaries placed in a game type environment. they are extremely well developed and the writing keeps you interested through out. the narration is great and you can definitely imagine rugrat in his American flag short shorts pounding somemetal. this book is a unique one in the genre, it's not your simple VR tech gamers who get caught in game. there isnt any apocoliptic events happening. its two well written badass mercs who get pulled into another dimension and kick ass using their knowledge of warfare. they stick to their personalities and react in the way their characters would to s situation. I love how they can be joking around one second and the next things get real and you feel like your in the action. a great book and addition to the series. I cant wait for the next

A Great Read for RPG Fans
I really am enjoying the Ten Realms Tale series! The book has its cliche moments but they are still somehow soooo satisfying. There are a few twists in this book we didn’t see in the first and the character cast has grown significantly.
Can’t wait to read the third book. Just take my money!

Sometimes it can feel like its just trying to hard to be bad ass or something but if you can look past that and enjoy the game elements its a great series. Also whenever the narrator finished some of the chapters it felt like he was ending an episode of DBZ or something.
