such a funny, sweet book

this was so fun. I laughed out loud several times, which doesnt happen very often. I actually squealed a couple times. I loved how sweet this was but was also spicy. I love it when a book can balance the two so well. the narrators were superb. top notch, some of the best. I highly recommend this book.

Good read, great listen!

This was a good read and a great listen! Grumpy, swoon worthy Fisher is ONLY sweet for Libby, even if he caught it off as hard as he could! Great spice, great emotions in the narration, and you can't go wrong with these narrators!

A Laugh-Out-Loud, Swoony Summer Romance!

Summer People is the perfect mix of humor, heart, and summer romance. The grumpy-sunshine dynamic between Libby and Fisher is irresistible, and the full cast with Samantha Brentmoor, Connor Crais, Angelina Rocca, Teddy Hamilton, and Avery Caris absolutely nails it.

Summer People has the summer vibes!

I can relate with Libby's love of her summer getaways to a place where you can slow down and enjoy life! this really is a perfect summer read! the duet narration really gave it that extra little something!

Best Summer Listen!

This audiobook is perfection! This is exactly what I was looking for in a Summer listen! The chemistry and the laugh out loud moments had me fully engrossed in the story! I loved being in the small world of Monhegan not only because of Fisher, Libby and Sutton but all the other wonderful people in Mohegan! It was so beautifully described, I felt like I was part of this island as well (I wish!) Fisher and Libby’s story is so beautiful and I truly enjoyed their journey!

The narration done by Samantha Brentmoor, Connor Crais, Angelina Rocco, Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris couldn’t have been more amazing! Each of these narrators brought so much life to the story and characters!

Fun Summer Duet Listen

Great story with eccentric community pulled in. Full cast of all of my favorite narrators. Fun easy summer listen and hopefully the first in a series with character cameos from the other series

Cute

Story was very cute. Although some parts felt like there were missing scenes. We went from him not really liking her to just randomly one day liking her. So it felt choppy. Still cute. Enjoyed it. Loved Sutton.

Summer People = Summer Perfection!

This was such a fun book to listen to. As a fan of both Brittanee Nicole & Jenni Bara, I had high expectations for this one and I got everything I hoped for and more. Libby and Fisher's story was sweet, spicy and full of swoon-worthy moments. It was the perfect book to start summer off right. Those wanting a small town (island) romance with witty and heartwarming side characters need to grab this ASAP. As for narration, this is an all-star cast. If you've listened to audiobooks, you know their names. Getting them all together in one book, YES PLEASE!

Definitely worth the hype

I was worried because i’ve seen soo many ads and pr sent on booktok, and recently with all the drama i don’t trust tiktokers. However i was really impressed with the book. VERY likable main characters and i gotta admit this is my favorite summer read. 4.5 ⭐️ - 1.5 🌶️

Highly recommend

The audio for Summer People was fantastic!! The multi cast really enhanced the already great story. The cast was really the best of the best - Samantha Brentmoor, Connor Crais, Angelina Rocca, Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris. All put together so magically!

The people of Monhegan island were so great! I mean, some of them were awful to Libby in the beginning. But several of them were welcoming. And holy crap did this have me laughing out loud in many, many chapters. Blue, an inappropriate elderly man, is freaking hilarious! The family dinner scene will have you rolling.

The way Libby and Fisher's relationship grows was beautiful. From instant attraction to mild annoyance to sparks flying to love - so much fun to experience that with them. And I just adored Sutton. She had Fisher wrapped around her finger. And the way she opened up to Libby - ugh, heartstrings pulled for sure.

Although this is a love story, it's also a show of immense strength. Libby is very inspirational. The way she stands up for herself, the way she provides a safe space for Sutton, the way she doesn't let Fisher push her away. So good.

Oh and that final epilogue?! Can't wait to find out more!
