Publisher's summary

The eighth realm, the unpassable realm.

The eighth realm doesn’t stand as a realm onto itself, but as a question.

Why do you fight?

Merely gaining levels and having a higher cultivation isn’t enough to pass the eighth realm’s test into the ninth realm. Find your truth, understand your reason; only then can you pass the eighth realm.

It might be Erik and Rugrat’s hardest challenge yet.

Great book!

The Two week Curse is the first book in the series and the first LitRPG I had ever read or listen to. I am now hooked on them and highly recommend not only this book but any of them in the series.

STOP WHINING!

Stop whining you welfare recipient, lives with your parents, wants a living wage for doing your crappy art project, food stamp hustling, social justice snowflakes. Writing a novel is a business, and it can be done with artistic and scholarly style, and sometimes comprises have to be made with narrators. stop your whining about not having Todd. He was the greedy one who wanted more money, yet you complain about author? how about you take your mommy's
allowance she gives you and just buy this credit and shove it.

It's a great story, and it was shortened because everyone complained about him trying to be a Robert Jordan with 20 sub characters per chapter, so now the stories are short and good. If you don't like it, tough. there are plenty of ceappier litrpgs out there.

now that I passed off the snowflakes, this book lives up to the hype. yes it is short, and people like to be entertained per hours. but a great book that is 7 hours is better than 25+ hours of state being repeated over and over and over and over and ... you get the point.

Good installlment

I'm glad this was not a 2 parter. Solid writing overall. I only didn't like that the 8th realm healed them and powered them up. Other than that it hit all the good story beats.

To short…

The only reason I can think of, the author having these last couple books as “parts” is a money a grab, and it’s bullshit

what shorter than some of the others

seems a little late to add a big bad when there is only two books left. I just can't wait to see what a complete tempering of the body and cultivation that would be cool

Beggining of a poor end.

As you will start to see if you start listening to this book, There is a sharp decline in content and this will get worse with each book from here on out. Final book is basically reading bullet points.

It's like the return of the Jedi

remember that feeling after empire strikes back, that's howbthen end of the 7th realm felt, this was like the return of the Jedi, they start off FUBAR, and then it clicks, answers come, and they get back on the mission.
also, dragond, enough said

Short but Complete

For anyone engrossed in this book series, this one is rather short especially when compared to the two whole books dedicated to the previous realm. While I feel personally that the book could have included more adventures or longer battles such as in the earlier installments, this book does include all necessary points for the Brothers to advance upwards through the realms. This realm is just a bit different from the rest is all.
