Lots of Questions - Not Many Answers

Book 2 - written in alternating characters points of view makes reading this a tad confusing. I still don't feel like I really know these characters. There are way more many questions than answers at this point. Overall I like the story so I am sticking with 4 stars. I feel like book 3 will bring this whole trilogy together and it will make books 1 & 2 make more sense in the end.

so addictive

each and every chapter leaves you Wes more information and three times as many questions. it is so deliciously frustrating. I cannot wait until I can get my hands on book three, I have so many questions that need to be answered and I cannot wait to dive into this is beautifuly written third book that holds all the answers to the questions my mind has conjured up

Great read and it sucks you in right at the start

Another hit story. The second book in this series was a good mystery and it was easy to fall right into this one. Finding out more about Lark and Raven and everything in between. This book leaves more questions but im looking forward to the next part. Narrator has a great voice and Very easy to follow with the story.

What a turn of events!!

As with the first story this has rich people who are entitled and there is Lark who has grown a conscience. The story is very interesting. Just finished this and have started the final book to see what happens!!!!

Not as good as the first

I have never read a book series where book 2 although about the same characters seem so vastly inferior. For one thing Raven Timmy was too dramatic. I know she was written by the same author as lark, but she started to great on my nerves. So many things rented her speechless and it made me wonder why did lock think she was up to the task of saving her she can’t even have an Apiphany without losing the ability to speak. Things about Raven did get all my nerves and book one such as how she was so brokenhearted she could only give the man in the military jacket a five dollar donation because that’s all she had. People act like if you have been in the military it is OK if you don’t work it’s OK if you live off of society. I come from a military family and I agree that people in the military should be taken care of but they have such a response to a toothless man in a military jacket that he could’ve bought at the local surplus just really made me roll my eyes which I did a few times when it came to Raven. Lark comes from a family with Uber money and she is much more likable then Raven not to say Raven is it likable she is she just a tad bit dramatic and goes into shock too often for my taste. She loses the ability to speak and sometimes even walk at normal regular every day things being next to a cute boy who she is acquainted with and good friends with yet when he left she loses the ability to continue with her day all the conversation for that matter. I’m going to stop because I didn’t hate Raven just didn’t like her that much. I will read book 3 though because I want to know how the things finally, just hope it’s better then book too.

Book Two - Keeps getting better and better

This book is a wild ride, and we still have lots of clues and answers to uncover.

I keep guessing, but my guesses are usually wrong...

Can't wait to get to the end of the series to see where all the clues lead us....

The mysteries continue

This 2nd book really continues this mystery along. The ending has you needing book 3 and the narration has gotten way less monotone!

A perfect second book in the series.

"Sometimes when the morning dawns I wake and revel in the peacefulness before reality hits me." The first line in the book is a perfect opening for Platinum Prey. Take a deep breath, a moment of peacefulness as you begin the continuation of this story, because you'll be holding it until you reach the end of the audiobook.

Twists and turns keep you engaged, but the character development is my favorite part of the series. I love that this story not only has new questions to answer, but also answers some questions posed in book 1.

The more I listen to Sarah Puckett's narrating the more I'm becoming a super fan. Overall, great story to listen to.

Wonderful Suspense

Fall deeper into the mysterious disappearance of Lark. Find out what secrets have yet to be uncovered and more of Lark’s world. I absolutely loved this and find myself wanting to post soooooo many spoilers but I won’t ruin it for you, just read it it is so good. As always Sarah Puckett does a great job with the narration. I seriously need more, major book hangover.
