Story
Unfortunately, not all people from magical bloodlines have powers, and at 22, I’m several years past the age they usually appear. So I’ve resigned myself to a boring, magic-less life. Then something strange happens. I get stuck in the middle of a bar fight, and instead of just punching the guy back, I blow a hole in the wall. So...I guess I do have powers. But they’re unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. This shit is definitely not normal. And it seems the magical authorities agree. I can go to school, learn to control my magic. Or they’ll take it away. Permanently.

Wolf shifters are real. And, three alphas have claimed me as their mate. For years, I've been kept prisoner by my uncle, hidden like a piece of trash in the basement of his house - beaten, broken, and neglected, hated by him for reasons I can't even understand. But, one night on the back roads of rural Montana, I see a chance for escape. And, I take it. I run...straight into the arms of a naked man. No. Not a man. A wolf. Ridge, the man with dark hair and honey-colored eyes, is the alpha of the North Pack.

First In Series
This is a great first in series laying the groundwork for the series. There are more questions than answers in this book and you must continue to the next book to get any answers. The story help my attention but I wish we were given some answers in this first installment. The characters are somewhat flat but I have hopes they grow as the story continues. The narrator did a superb job at bringing the story and characters to life and I would not hesitate to listen to other books narrated by her. I look forward to book 2 which will hopefully offer some answers to all of the questions I have.

A mystery that will keep you guessing...
I absolutely loved this story! I wasn't sure what to expect, but by the end of the story I was hooked. I loved the back and forth between timelines and the different clues that are encountered along the way. The cliffhanger ending left me wanting more and I can't wait for the next audio book to be released! I definitely found my next series to be addicted to. Amazing job Sophie Davis!

Haunting ...
Sophie Davis masters the psychological thriller. Darkness becomes your best friend, even as it remains your worst enemy. The chill lies in the unknown and Fragile Facade feeds on that uncertainty and never let's go. Raven stumbles into that blank space to help a stranger and may not survive the fall. Haunting nail biter.

Interesting Mystery
I enjoyed this mystery, although it ended in a cliffhanger. It was a relatively clean listen - there were some things alluded to, but not much language or explicit content, which I appreciated. I listened to it in a few days because the story was really interesting, like a Seinfeld episode where you can see the separate storylines coming together. I want to find out what happens to the main characters, since there was no real conclusion at the end of the book.
The narrator was excellent, giving each of the characters their own distinct voices.

Start of a great series
This is definitely the start to an amazing series. I loved Raven and this book had me from the moment the first words were read. It kept me guessing and questioning the entire time. I would have enjoyed a few more answers in this book but will continue to find out more about this chilling mystery. I can’t wait to see what is next. The narrator did a fantastic job.

Definitely an interesting story!
Sarah Puckett is an amazing narrator but I felt like this genre could sometimes use a bit more action or tension than her soft voice produces. She just has such a lovely soothing voice that I dozed off quite a bit without meaning to so maybe that’s why I’m thinking it could use a bit more of an active sounding voice. To be fair, I was and am always tired so maybe I’m just too easily affected due to my illnesses but anyway, for some reason I’d rather have Sarah narrate more the fantasy kind than the contemporary kind of stories because I’m more actively shaping a fantasy world than a rather known world.
The story is great. Mysterious through and through. The story goes back and forth between Lark’s perspection and Raven’s, so two different timelines but woven together so well that it reads as one continuous story.
And because each chapters starts with the name of who’s point of view that chapter will be there’s never a confusion moment. What means we are left with a very clear and interesting story that always keeps you wondering just what, why and how.
I love the storyline and the characters but I did end up with just a little bit too much questions to give the 5 stars. I’m very curious to see how the story will evolve.

So many questions still!
This book started a bit slow and I didn't really start getting into it until about halfway through. But by the end I was obsessed and I already had to start the next one. I still have so many unanswered questions! Like why isn't Lark worried about all the missing time?!? WTF! OMG there is just so much I need to know. Is this paranormal or something psychological? How?!?
Also, this recording is quieter than most other audio books so I had to have prime listening conditions and you should've seen me jump at the "audible hopes you have enjoyed this production" blaring from the speaker because I had to have it maxed. But it's so worth it!
I definitely recommend this book and I believe I'll listen to it again.

Very Interesting and What and Ending
This book is told from two POV. The FMC in the present time is Raven. Lark's POV is mainly told through memories she wrote in her journal. Lark is a daughter and heiress of a diamond and jewelry tycoon. Raven moves to the city and finds Lark's journal in her car. Lark has gone missing. Lark's journal has several clues to help find her. Raven has to just figure the clues out. This book keep me very intrigued and wanting to know more. Can't wait to start the next book.

Keep you on the edge of your seat.
This story is a real page turner. From the beginning to the cliffhanging end.
It is full of mystery, intrigue, lies, deception, compassion, and this is only the first book, what does the author Sophie Davis have lined up ahead for the missing Lark, and the young naïve Raven who has no idea what's a head in her investigation.
I can't wait to listen. Sarah Puckett did a fantastic job keeping me on the edge of my seat so far in this arresting tale.

this does end in a cliffhanger, BUT WHAT A STORY!!
I am not usually drawn to thrillers like this one. But this one grabbed my attention from the blurb. Not many books can do that. This story had me so confused in the best possible way. I just could not put it down, trying to predict what would be happening. My heart was just racing in certain parts. I just love Sarah Puckett and completely enjoyed her performance. I am eagerly dying to get into book 2. I have become a fan of Sophie Davis and will be looking for more of their work. A definite must listen.

Oh My Word! Clues Everywhere You Look
I honestly don't know where to start this review. The story of Lark Kingsley is an intriguing one. The only child, heir of the Kingsley Diamond dynasty, who realizes her life isn't so peachy. There are a lot of pretenses that has to be put on and she's not being her true self. But she's also been very secretive, which does not help matters. When she goes missing, the world needs to know what happened to her. Where is she? Is she hurt, or did she run away with a guy? For some unexplainable reason, the disappearance of Lark speaks to Raven. First, she finds a diary in her trunk and this leads Raven on a chase to find the clues and solve the case. She does so with the help of her downstairs neighbor, Asher. As she solves each clue, it brings her one step closer to finding Lark, but all the clues are bringing up more questions than answers. Can Raven solve the clues in time to save Lark?
Psychological thrillers aren't typically my thing, but I could not put this down! Every time I thought I solved the case, another twist. There's something about Asher I don't trust, but I can't put my finger on it. I like Lark and Raven. There are moments when I really just want to shake Raven, but I get her logic. This book, along with Sarah Puckett's narration, had me going through all types of emotions. It gave me anxiety, wanting to know what happens next, is Lark going to be okay? Sarah's narration was brilliant. The personalities she supplied to each character was absolute perfection. It does end in somewhat of a cliffhanger, but it is so worth it! This book will have you wondering what will happen next. What will happen to Raven? Is Asher trustworthy? (That may just be me...) But I can't wait to read/listen to book 2!

I WANT MORE
Raven stumbles upon a missing girl and a mystery when she agrees to move into an apartment while the original person is traveling abroad. She discovers that the girl's disappearance may have been more dark than anybody realizes. The more she searches the clues the further involved she gets. I loved this book. The further into it I read the more I wanted to. I loved the fact that this story was told in both perspectives. It added mystery and intrigue to the story. I am totally hooked on the characters and need to be all about their lives more right now! I couldn't get enough. I have too many questions that need answers. Normally, I'd go on about the things I didn't like. However, I loved everything about it. So, I'll just take the time to gush over the narrator. This is not the first book I've heard Sarah Puckett narrate. Oh my goodness is she talented! She brings the characters to life of all stories she narrates! I fully recommend her! This book was amazing, but it's got a cliff hanger. I fully recommend having the second book handy to delve right into. I wish I had it so I could just start immediately on it. I will find a way to get my hands on it and devour it! This has been an amazing book and I'm glad I read it!

Clues, Mystery, & Secrets Intricately Weaved!
Fragile Facade is a mystery, a enticing narative with a writing style that creates distinctly crafted characters & draws a vivid picture. Clues, mystery, & secrets intricately weaved throughout the narrative to create a suspenseful listen.
Going between past and present timelines with well detailed world building descriptions & settings. With a set infrastructure that leads into this psychological thriller.
We are left with more questions than answers in the end. This ends with a oh my stars and garters cliffhanger. Looking forward to listening to book two in this triology. I absolutely love the twist at the end.
Sarah Puckett is a professional narrator/storyteller whose flawless performance accentuates the characters. Everything flows through smoothly at the right pace & tones. Character's are given their own voice.

The most beautiful man I've ever seen is the same one who can ruin everything. The first time I lay eyes on Callan Walker, I know he'll be trouble. With his smug grin, hot Aussie accent, and thousand-dollar shoes, he's just the kind of rich guy who always gets what he wants. And he wants two things: a night of sin, and my cooperation as he outmaneuvers his powerful mother to take control of his uncle's estate. I can't afford either one. I'm the only thing standing between my little sister and the foster care system.

Me and the legendary Zimmerman twins - it's a friendship made in geek heaven. And it all started back when I worked for the NSA... My best friend Basia dragged me to the beach for her idea of a vacation. All those annoying people, sand in embarrassing places - not exactly R & R for a girl who doesn't like the sun, the ocean, or bathing suits. I couldn't wait to get back to work. But things started looking up when I ran into Elvis and Xavier Zimmerman. We discovered we had a lot in common: gaming, anchovies, hacking.
