Publisher's summary

Sienna Diaz is everyone's favorite "fat" funny lady. The movie studio executives can't explain it, but her films are out-grossing all the fit and trim headliners and Hollywood's most beautiful elite. The simple truth is, everyone loves plus-sized Sienna.

But she has a problem: she can't read maps and her sense of direction is almost as bad as her comedic timing is stellar. Therefore, when Sienna's latest starring role takes her to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, she finds herself continually lost while trying to navigate the back roads of Green Valley, Tennessee. Much to her consternation, Sienna's most frequent savior is a ridiculously handsome, charming, and cheeky park ranger by the name of Jethro Winston.

Sienna is accustomed to high levels of man-handsome, so it's not Jethro's chiseled features or his perfect physique that make Sienna stutter. It's his southern charm. And gentlemanly manners. And habit of looking at her too long and too often.

Sienna has successfully navigated the labyrinth of Hollywood heartthrobs. But can she traverse the tenuous trails of Tennessee without losing her head? Or worse, her heart?

5 million stars!!

I smiled throughout this read. So charmed by Jethro and loved feisty Sienna. Perfect narration for all the characters especially Cletus. Can't wait for the next book.

The Greatness Continues

This series has been my introduction to Penny Reid, because of how great the story of these bearded brothers it has opened me up to many other Penny Reid books, but instead of listening to them back to back I have been listening in between other books in order to savor these stories. My first was Beauty and the Mustache, then Truth or Beard and in between those I listened to the Elements of Chemistry series.

This book is of the oldest brother Jethro the reformed bad boy who used to be apart of the dads MC, stealing cars and taking advantage of women only to become a park ranger and all around good guy. As he meets Siena Diaz an actress/comedian trying to escape the non-private life she lives being in the spot light, they immediately have a connection. This book has great humor that will make you laugh out loud as you route for the growth of their relationship. I look forward to all of the Winston Brothers stories but in the meantime I will be listening to the Hooker and the Hermit also by Penny Reid.

Such a wonderful feel good story.

I may listen to this series over and over again. Along with this COVID-19 thing, I, like most people in the world, have other problems to deal with. I seldom find much to make me smile. This book did! There were a few times that it looked like the plot might go downhill but it was just enough to make me appreciate the good when it showed up . I want to read the next book now but maybe I should save it for a rainy day. Many thanks to Ms. Reid. :)

Consistency is key and sadly it is lacking

Technically being the third book in the Winston Brothers series (if you count the introduction of them in Beauty and the Mustache as book one), I feel that consistency in voice actors is very important because we as listeners have already become invested in how these characters sound. So to bring some new girl in at this stage of the game is just odd. Especially when she doesn't bring anything special or memorable to the performance. Cielo Camargo sounds fine but consistency would've made this audiobook so much better #ConsistencyisKey #WinstonBrothers #LargeFamily #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes

I absolutely love the Latina Love story ❤❤❤

I absolutely love that there was a Latina in this and she was not the idea body Image that Hollywood wants and yet she was proud of that!!. Being a Latina my self made me feel repressed in this book world and that love comes in all shapes and sizes and also background. my favorite book so far.

Another bearded HEA

I’m not sure how I found this author or the Winston brother books, but I am so happy I did! They are close, funny and definitely hiding from their pasts.

In this story, the oldest son/brother, Jethro falls for Sienna, a movie star. The way they navigate their relationship is so fun and we get to “see” and hear from the other siblings. The story flowed well and Jethro gets the HEA he deserves, even if he doesn’t think so.

Jethro and Sienna

A fun, witty, and entertaining story. This was definitely a slow burn between Sienna and Jethro. They had fiery, sweet, and passionate chemistry but Jethro took things super slow with her, he had his reason but it all worked out because the friendship they developed was beautiful. I enjoyed this story. The Winston brothers are intriguing. Narration was FANTASTIC.
