Meh???

Paid a credit for this book as a filler until the next installment of a series pops up and I have mixed feelings. I found it interesting but slow 🐌. The narrators did a great job. Dual narration is the best. I was upset how quickly it ended, on a cliffhanger, but still not super excited for part 2. I am however gonna continue it just to kill time but again wasn't that amazing.

Took me a minute to get into it

At first, I was not thrilled with the way the readers' voices were. Mainly the female reader. she seemed to enunciate at the wrong times or something just felt off. The story line was okay- what I wanted. I like to have easy stuff to listen to on my way to and from work.

I thought it would be just another Valkyrie story but it was so much more.

I really enjoyed the story line and the happy ending. I drove while listening to this book and it kept my attention!
