Publisher's summary

The complete Blackwood demons paranormal RH romance trilogy in one box set!

Book 1: Lessons in Darkness

What do you get when you add one witch and five demons? An unexpected pregnancy.

Three weeks before I came to Blackwood Academy, I made a mistake. Some would say I made five. But what happens on the other side of the portal, stays on the other side of the portal.

Until my five mistakes show up on the first day of class. Everybody at Blackwood already hates witches, but no one quite like them. Vale is a bully, intent on taking my power little by little. Nicodemus is a charming, handsome Devil that doesn’t know how to channel his dark energy for good. Ares and Slade, well, they're twins—the sweet one and the sadistic one. And to top it all off, Zephyrus Storm is my professor.

I didn’t just make five mistakes across the portal, I crossbred two worlds that were never meant to intertwine. When the Blackwood Five find out I’m pregnant, everything changes. And when the students find out, all hell breaks loose.

This baby will change the world; if it doesn’t kill me first.

Book 2: Bonds of the Damned

How do you keep five demons and a witch from breaking the law?

I rolled the dice and fate turned on me. A trip to the other side of the portal changed my life forever. One accidental pregnancy and a near-death experience later, I'm in the back of a car taking me straight to Stoneward Asylum with my five baby daddies right next to me.

The prisoners don't take too kindly to new arrivals. I might only be here for a few weeks, but that's plenty of time to learn the ropes. There's a new demon squad on the playground and when they decide to challenge the Blackwood Five, all I can do is hope that we don't become chopped liver before our trial starts.

The Council is determined to serve justice, but between the baby and the prison war, I don't know which will get me first.

Book 3: The Price Of Salvation

Can five demons and a witch change the rules of the realm?

The baby is in distress and he's taking all of us with him. Trapped behind the walls of Bellevue Medical, all we can do is worry about what The Council will do when I give birth. Will they let us keep the child? Or will they take him away forever?

Outside of the hospital, a rebellion is brewing. Word has gotten out about what The Council will do to our half-demon, half-witch child. My five baby daddies are on medical rotation trying to keep me and our baby alive, but when they aren't by my side, they're stirring up the crowd.

The Council started this fight a century ago, but we're going to be the ones to finish it.

Great Story

Is it possible for the computer voice to also be MALE?
I find it more enjoyable when there is more than just one tone.

AI narration is garbage

The AI voice has zero emotion, which is awful for a romance story. No one gets excited for a robotic sex scene. AI was unable to understand context. I.V. is pronounced as "four" I had a hard time figuring out what a "four" pole was. The AI was unable to use the correct word for many words, such as read and read.. Please Audible, no more AI narration.

AI Narration takes away from the story.

The AI voice does not do inflection of the story correctly and doesn’t differentiate between characters. Also the story transitions are lost because it all sounds the same. You also have issues with the proper pronunciation of some words based on context.

The ending didnt match the beginning...

First....as of now virtual voice just isnt ready. I get trying to save money but youre losing the audience this way. How can you have so many male characters and POVs and dont bother to have a male voice.....ntm the damn AI cant READ!
Second I can tell that what the author had originally planned for this series got chucked out before the end of the second book. Making a lot of the information and hints given completely null....SPOILER...
For example....what happened to all the bad things the counsel said the Main character was going to do....why didnt it come up during the many confrontations with them.....what happened to the prophecy that was mentioned on 3 seperate occasions....the synopsis doesnt even match the series....

I listened to the whole thing. I liked the story but it could have been so much richer if the author had stuck with the storyline she began with. Its suttle so most people will miss it....but I didn't so there is bound to be more who will too.

AI-SMH

This was a great story but failed with the use of AI reading- disliked the annoyance of mis-pronunciation, lack of inflection and emotion that would have elevated the listening experience!!

Can hardly stand the narration but managed to make it through.

It really throws the story off when the narration reads the word incorrectly. Several words in the wrong tense. Worst of all was calling the IV pole the four pole. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Don’t like digital voice but story is good

The digital voice is a little annoying and kind of throws you off but if you need to be hands-free, can’t read the actual book then it’s overall OK as far as the voice goes digital voice goes The story was good I feel like it could’ve been better more detailed as far as building the characters but if you’re needing some thing to read, it’s a good read for some sci-fi

Virtual voice 😝

I really liked the story! The virtual voice however drove me nuts!! It kept mispronouncing words and I kept finding myself correcting it in my head. I would give the narrator a zero😡

Not your typical storyline.

I was unsure if I would like this trilogy, but I enjoyed the characters, storyline and world.
