Love this book!

This was my first read getting back into books and it was a good one to start with. Loved the details; you could actually close your eyes and imagine the world.

Great narration

Overall the story wasn’t hitting me very well so 3.5 for that but the narration was awesome. She did a great job and I would listen to her again.

Kept Interested

I kept wondering if this story would take a turn where I was eventually turned off from it but it didn’t happen. The story was good enough that I want to know more. The performance was a little monotonous but otherwise good.

Worth the struggle at the beginning

Had problems getting into the story at first. Eventually I was pulled in and wanted to continue. looking forward to book 2.

Was there a sex scene and I missed it?

I love also Greek mythology too and some things were just too much or didn't add up if you know the myths well. I feel like these writers would do better making up their own characters. This audiobook was entertaining but it was missing elements that made it complete for a romance novel for adults. Too many inconsistencies in Greek mythology, only a basic understanding, and a immature relationship between the hero and heroine that never materialized into anything. Great narrator and great cover, good story.

It’s been a while since I have felt excited about a book let alone the series. The plot kept me wanting more. The mystery keeps me wanting to find out what happens next. I have guesses, but I want to know for sure. I enjoyed listening to the audiobook and the narrator. She made the writing all the more enticing.

Judged a book by its cover... total win!

Ok, here is the thing... I'm perusing the romance options looking for something to listen to at work. Usually I like something simple and steamy... I thought this book would fit the bill. I really enjoyed the story! So much so that I had to listen to something else at work because I was engrossed in the story! And then.... the credits roll (so to speak) and not one God or Goddess has had sex with anything. What??? I was a little miffed at that, felt robbed so I didn't even look for book 2. Then my mind kept going back to the story, I missed the characters, I wondered what would happen next. Came here for a good sex scene, left with a freaking excellent story.

I love the story but when it came to the end something was in the middle of happening and it just ended. SO many question left in answered
