Return to the Innverse in Fae & Fare, the second novel in the massive epic fantasy world that has become a LitRPG sensation, where cities are rebuilt, more chess is played, friendships are formed, intrigues grow, and the Wandering Inn… moves.

The monster known as Skinner has been destroyed, but the battle still lingers for Erin as she deals with the loss of so much, including the adventurers—the Horns of Hammerad—both she and Ryoka have befriended. Yet even with so much death, life must go on, including Ryoka and Erin finding out they have one very important thing in common: They’re both from the real world.

Even more: they’re not the only ones.

But as much as they want to find others like them, they both also need to survive. The first thing they need is money, especially after the Wandering Inn, um… accidentally explodes. So Ryoka takes on bigger runners’ assignments and Erin… makes hamburgers.

They also need to level up (at least, in Erin’s case) and get stronger, because winter is here, bringing with it new monsters, annoying snow sprites, and a dark legend reborn.

Every day is a new adventure in the Innverse, but no matter what, there’s still time for chess.

This audiobook edition of The Wandering Inn includes both Fae and Fae (Book 2, Part 1) and Immortal Games (Book 2, Part 2)—newly published as individual books in ebook and print.

LitRPG means Literary Role Playing Game. Simply put, it’s the book version of watching someone play a video game, usually one that’s set up like an MMO (massively multiplayer online) RPG. It’s a blend of sci-fi and fantasy, depending on how it comes to be that our main character ends up living inside a virtual reality. the point of LitRPG is not how we get there, but that we get to be in this virtual reality period, living life as a badass video-game character. Beat the grind and submerse yourself in these addictive LitRPGs.

I loved basically everything about this book! The side stories were awesome, the characters are beautifully and consistently flawed, the arcs are exciting, the world is delightfully complex, and the narration is superb. Normally with a book nearly this long, I would have to stop in the middle and listen to something else for a while, but not with this one.

My one complaint might be that the cyclical storytelling from multiple perspectives was a little confusing at times because the time spans of the perspectives can be wildly varied. For example, a secret can be revealed to one character from another character's perspective, and then we switch to that character's perspective and start long before that point and may not even reach that point. It got a little confusing, but I think that is the nature of the issue and a bit unavoidable. I loved having all the different perspectives of the same situations because they add a lot a nuance and humor to the stories.

Probably my favorite storyline. These characters keep evolving and changing throughout the series. Easily the longest audible I’ve purchased and when I was done I wanted more. 10/10 would recommend to any dragon.

The Pirate has done it again!

Pirate Aba has managed to make in epic fly by in moments, leaving you craving for more. Each character has their own movtives which work for and against everyone else. Each small story is interwoven as well as a master tapestry. The story coupled with the narrators voice makes me anxious for the next book, and awed how quickly this one has passed.

An amazing tale wirh a wonderfully rich characters

I really enjoy in depth character development and detailed stories. This series has it, and a great narrator. I hope the whole series is made into audiobooks (i drive A LOT and I can't read near as much as I like).

Can't wait for volume 3!!!

I am in love with The Wandering Inn. The writing is wonderful and the narration is outstanding. Ive laughed, cried and shared a gambit of emotions with these characters. Pirate aba is soooo good. I dont think I've ever been as entwined in a story as I have been in this one. But it wouldn't be as amazing if Andrea Parsneau weren't narrating it. She is fantastic. She has a different distinguishable voice for each character. I can't wait for more from these two!

Best Ever
