Boring

could have been so much more but the continuous relationship building and non sci fi distractions ruined the story.

Started with action and ended with shopping trips, picking out matching uniforms, and wine drinking at every meeting.

Everyone has different tastes in Science fiction and obviously this was not for me. I purchased the full set after sampling book one, but by book four, I was listening at 1.7-2.0 speed.
While I initially enjoyed book one, by book two I felt the story/plot had taken a hard turn. The story jaringly becomes a woman empowerment dialogue that never embraces the importance of supportive relationships beyond "sisterhood".
The narrator gave each female the same breathless voice, which soon became grating and difficult to determine which character was speaking without giving one's full attention.

I have to admit, the ending of book 1 was a huge letdown.

Luckily I came across a review of book 1 that gave a hint of what’s to come in subsequent books so I used up a credit and glad I did.

Loved the whole story. Absolutely fantastic, great plot and a fantastic story line.

Everything was fabulous, finding a space ship and taking it out in space. Totally believable it would result in a nuclear exchange between nations.

Woman Centric Narratives To The Everlasting Hilt

If you’re a fan of an exceptionally lengthy adventure story where the female characters gradually assume all positions of power, express their emotional struggles in an excruciatingly detailed manner, and engage in exhaustive discussions about every minor aspect of every scenario, then this book is the perfect fit for you. Personally, I called it quits with 10 hours remaining. I couldn’t take anymore!
