Good for the first in a series

Definitely an enjoyable listen and I look forward to the next books. Though a little research like Ivy recommends would have been good for the author. Everytime I heard a mink referred to as a rodent irked me far more than it probably should have. I have pet ferrets which are in the same family as minks, otters, weasels, etc. . I hope it's remedied if they use the same spell in future books at all.

I loved this book and I can't wait to hear the whole series I'm so excited!!!!

Always an epic read

I have been a huge fan of Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series since the beginning. I have reread this book so many times so hearing it on audible for the first time (for me) was amazing and enthralling. The narrator/reader does a fairly awesome job of portraying the characters as their own unique voices and it really plays out well. I quite enjoyed it. :)

So fun to listen to!

Rachel is probably top 3 of my favorite FMC, the Kim portrays her is amazing! The plot and follow through are well met. Just as glad I own the audiobooks as I am of my paperbacks!

Kept me on my toes.

Could not hardly wait for my next chance to listen to it. excellent book to listen to or even read.
