When I first started reading this series, I was skeptical I would like it in the long run. But Rachel's character (and her friends) are always changing. This is a very enjoyable series for the paranormal genre. Jenks is my favorite! I highly recommend this audiobook - the whole series. Marguerite Gavin is a fantastic narrator and is a definite plus for Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series.

I rate 5 of 5 stars to the Audible audio book "A Perfect Blood (Rachael Morgan #10)" by Kim Harrison. What can I say? I've enjoyed books 1 to 9 and enjoyed book 10. Another great installment in the series. This book furthers the main character-lines and has a well focused main story line. I rate this book as stronger than book 9; I liked the crisp story line with few tangents. If you liked the earlier books, you will enjoy this book.

With magic, a story can go anywhere, anything can happen. That's what I love about this series. I have come to expect everything and nothing, and am always pleasantly surprised.

Unpredictable Rachel

I think Trent put a spell on her with that bracelet from the previous book. She was completely clueless and not herself at all. She depending way too much on Trent. It was crazy, she was crazy. I found myself fussing at her out loud for the obvious craziness of how she was thinking. Rachel is not herself in this story.
