The apocalypse has ended for Adrian Ring, and the rebuilding of the world has begun. But have all the stories of the old world's death been told? Life's tough if you're a boy named Gisbo. Besides having a name that means "dog" in a barbaric tongue and being forced to live all alone in a manure shack outside the city walls, Gisbo has also never soared on a flying sword, raised a boon animal, or made a single friend. When he isn't washing the graffiti off his shack, Gisbo's time is spent dodging insults from his spoiled classmates and fighting for his life against the city's arrogant clash team.

Freshly given his new Renegara title, Gisbo Falcon is back, but for how long? On the desert plains of Flaria, Gisbo continues his training under his Class Master, Falcon, while dodging Spike Slithers, getting reacquainted with a long lost family, and preparing for a tournament to face off against his greatest rival yet, Malik Strife. But that's the easy part. A fiendish cult known only as The Holy Chosen has recently risen out of the ruins of Cledwyn City, once home to Vadid the Valiant and the Flarian race.

With Cledwyn City back under Flarian control, and their title of Renegade officially theirs, Gisbo Falcon and friends return to a home they scarcely recognize. The Elekai' Exhibition has once again come to Heaven's Shelter, and with it, old grudges. The Strifes, once Renegades themselves, have the blood bound right to compete in the tournament and fight for the ultimate prize...the bandana, and title of Renegade Chieftain.

The Rupture they called it, when Gisbo Falcon, considered one of the greatest Renegades of them all, lost control, and became a corrupted weapon for the Dragon Deity Drakearon.
