Good Solid Zombie Title

No Nazi’s… No clowns… No God v Satan… Just a good solid traditional end of the world zombie story which is bound to keep you wanting more!

I had not heard of the author or the narrator before, but I will be sure to look for them in the future. The narration matched the characters perfectly. The speed of the narration was best played at 1.25x which in turned only shorted the total listening time a little.

I couldn’t but help think of another of my favourite zombie series ‘The Beginning of the End: Apocalypse Z’ when listening to this one. I just hope the second in the series doesn’t go down the same path of Apocalypse Z did. Not that it would be too bad if it did, but it is refreshing not read of some new even more crazy thing than the zombies.

What I did find interesting was unlike many in this genre, the author seems to be very restrained in describing disturbing details… forced sex scenes for example don’t have too many details.

This one really gets two thumbs up from me. It will provide hours of listening pleasure on a long travel to work. In fact I liked it so much I purchased the second in the series before I even finished the first!

Solid Zombie Story

An entertaining story with great narration. Definitely worth spending a credit! I'm starting the second book in this series right away!

I have read 20 or so Zombie type books in the past few months. This book is one that I find myself constantly reflecting upon. Is it the best book ever "nope" is it worth the credit "yep".

Not the classic zombie apocolypse story

A bit slow for my tastes, but a good listen. More of a coming of age story in the setting of a zombie apocolypse than a hardcore ZA story.

I don't want to seem as if I am nitpicking but it bothers me when authors don't get the basic facts correct. At chapter 15 20:37 on my I phone (4:17:15 section 16 on my computer) the character a .22 caliber revolver with a suppressor attached to the barrel.

The fact is that it is impossible to suppress a revolver. It does not effect the story but I would be equally disappointed if the author mentioned that he filled up the gas tank of his Tesla automobile, or the author said that he needed to buy more film for his I Phone so that he could take pictures.

I am 4 hours and 17 minutes into the book and am enjoying the story but as far as am concerned having the kid find a revolver with a suppressor is just sloppy writing. Do your research regardless as to whether you are writing about guns, cars or taking a picture with an I Phone

I will give a full review when I finish the book but I had to stop listening to the book so I could mention this

{clarification}I would like to point out that there are revolvers that have been suppressed but they would be very rare and something you would would not find laying around in someone's drawer

Definitely fantastic

The detail on surviving the zombie infestation is so awesome, different from a lot of apocalyptic tellings. You will certainly fall in love with the characters and the narrator is the best!!

I love this book. The prezombie story will suck you in. The life of Zack and his friends is hard...but next...I can't wait

Much better than expected

This was much better than expected. I enjoyed the story and the fact there were not to many characters to keep track of. I look forward to listening to the rest of them.
