Great story and characters! This author has become one of my favorites! I recommend all of her books!

A females perspective

Most zombie stories are written from a males perspective. It is a breath of fresh air to get a woman’s point of view.

Story Flowed Well

I thought the story was really interesting. What I like the most about the writing is that there is not a lot of repeated information. I've noticed that a lot of fiction audiobooks have a lot of repetition of the characters qualities and thoughts. I really appreciate the character development and the smooth storytelling from one to the other.

The narrator is really good, being able to switch from one character to the other and it's clear which character is being represented. The speech is well defined and I can understand without having to back up to replay sentences. Based on this first book, I'll be listening to the whole series.

Great series so far

I like Baileigh Higgins and this series is part of the reason why. Rise of the Undead is starting off good. It follows different people and what they go through to get through the apocalypse. Kristen James does a fine job as narrator. I will continue with the next in line.
