The best way I can describe what this book did to me:

Gary John Bishop has (sometimes violently) cleared away the scars and callases, so I can see the festering wounds of my past and the errors I continue to make.

After I listen to one of his books, I feel like I have way more work to do than I did when I started. What’s scary is that upon re-listening the effect is somehow repeated with all the old revelations folded in with stuff I didn’t catch or forgot about. Valuable stuff.

I just received a lifetime of homework on making me better, happier and more compassionate, it’s a long row, let’s get crackin!

Not for the timid. Worth the risk

It’s a hard look at the excuses we tell ourselves. It’s a hard look internal in us. It’s a roadmap of how to overcome with all the bullshit, excuses and crap we tell ourselves so we won’t fail. This is the third book I’ve read by him. He hits hard and deep. So if you don’t like being called out and wish to live in your made up life. This isn’t for you.

Get into the game.

This is the 2nd book I read from this author. How practical, how applicable, how amazingly depicted are my problems and excuses. This book has had an immediate positive impact on my way of thinking, my behavior, my moving forward and getting back into the game. regaining my self and my life back.. taking back control over my every day and my outcomes. I can do this.. its all on me.. its all about contributing to this world. Thank you for a great book.
