How to Win Friends & Influence People for the Modern Age

Phil has done an amazing job at delivering the timeless principles from Dale Carnegie’s classic and present it to us in a world where social media, SMS and marketing automation is a reality.

Even if you have listened to other “sales” book, Phil’s fresh takes and interactive style will leave you excited to find new opportunities to find more money.

Especially fantastic if you're averse to selling!

As someone who recently started to fully pursue his personal company and has an inherent dislike and distrust of salespeople, this was a fantastic breath of fresh air. One of my biggest areas of weakness and frustration has been figuring out how to sell my product without appearing to be too salesy or unnecessarily polished.

Phil's techniques and explanations are incredibly easy to implement and most importantly, are genuine! I would highly recommend the book to anyone who wants to get better at selling regardless of skill level. I was a little hesitant at first with the live presentation structure but I actually find that it was really great and possibly better than a typical audiobook for this format. Definitely recommend!

lots of good information

I enjoyed the book. Got a lot of good information. Good for somebody not familiar with sales. And some excellent techniques for people that are already sales professionals

Best of the best in my ear holes

Been a huge fan of all the books Phil has written and had the pleasure of watching him speaking multiple times and this is the PERFECT combo of book and stage with beyond actionable insights making me feel like it’s my own personal 1 on 1 training with Phil. This is a must for everyone and I believe the future of content will be transformed thanks to amazing content like this!

Better to read some books

The speaker does a great job on organizing his lecture and talking to the audience, but the truth is you'll be better off reading new Sales Simplified for general strategy and other books on specialized necessity you might have, for example, closing, negotiating and handling objections.

The speaker is not so good as he might think he is, not very objective and trusts too much the good will of the audience to answer otherwise retorical questions.

Some details make it worth, but not worth 5 or 4 stars.

Exceptional read!!

I just wanted to keep going, I struggled to put the book down! He brings up viable points and frames it in a way that simply makes good sense. At the end, he definitely takes the stress away when asking for referrals.

Persuade and Get Paid Thrives LOUD!

I had the pleasure to attend this event in person LIVE at the Minetta Theatre. Listening for a second time to Phil's process is always enlightening and provides so many helpful reminders I'll continue to use it as a resource to refer to again and again. Phil is always at the top of his game...and how is content is presented is very digestible with clear action items to put into use right away.

Game changer!!

His delivery and advice have truly helped me in the way that I sell. Just listening to it while I work I have implemented some of the words and strategies he teaches and I’ve already seen massive results. This was worth the money. Definitely get this and change your life in sales!

The Best Way You Can Spend This Months Credit

This really was amazing.

It goes far beyond any traditional idea of a “sales” training workshop.

And boy have I been dragged through many a blue chip sales training work shop.

There are so many business shifting “Ah Ha” moments and golden nuggets woven into this workshop you will be certain to give it more than pass.

The Wanted Poster Method being my fav.

Also he used the phrase in “Whoop De Do”
Which made me as a Brit very happy

Very good training - on point

Brilliantly narrated by the author which is always a plus. Very concise and to the point with not much fluffing. Thoroughly enjoyed the message and will be listening and taking notes second time around. There is a lot to take in but also great points to take away and utilise immediately.

i love Phil Jones previous books...

I have bought 2 of Phils previous books and found them awesome. But this just sounds like it was a recording of a seminar he took, the audio stripped and whacked into a audiobook (which evidently it was) Not the usual care and precision taken to build on what was previously delivered in the other books.. for deeper learning.

Excellent sales workshop

Phil gives some great tips and perspectives on how to prepare for meetings/phone calls as well as selecting your demographic and interesting ways on how to effectively approach prospects. Definitely worth the listen.

A very edutaining audio

I had not encountered Phil M.Jones, so selecting this audio was an unknown quantity. I was pleasantly surprised that it is engaging and informative. I learned a lot about sales and I was happy that good ethical influence was being taught too. Highly recommended to anyone in the sales and marketing arena.

Change of mindset

Painful to listen to!

Had to stop 30minutes in- I listen to, and read a lot of books, and this is up there with the worst!
