Publisher's summary

You're not being very nice right now.
I think you like it when I'm not nice.

Nick Fletcher has the voice of a god and a tongue as sharp as a knife. His words can cut, and this time, his quick temper has earned him an intruder in his life and on his tour.

Dalia Brenner looks like a grown-up Annie gone bad, but he wants nothing to do with her pin-up-worthy curves and smart mouth. His method of dealing is to keep his head down, get through the tour, and then he'll never have to see her again.

Dalia has no intention of having heart-to-hearts with Nick. They share a bus and sleep three feet apart every night, but that doesn't mean she can't ignore the scowly, grumpy lead singer.

But she can't seem to deny the annoying instinct to fix the pain and grief behind Nick's sea-glass eyes, even though she definitely knows better.

And Nick, well, he's getting tired of denying Dalia...period.

Dalia has plans though, and none of them involve being a rock star's girlfriend. Too bad Nick couldn't disagree more.

Couldn’t put it down!

I’ve been a book slump, usually quitting after the first few chapters, but this book sucked me in from chapter one and held on!! I loved the heroine! An intelligent, yet sassy red head with wonderful curves and an amazing attitude!! The hero was brooding, loyal and protective. But he also has a bit of an attitude. He’ll piss you off and just as quickly draw you in! In addition to a great, slow burn love story with tons of witty banter, there is an amazing cast of secondary characters!!! I absolutely loved this book!!

Both the narrators are new to me, so I’m happy to report that they are both amazing!!!! You won’t be disappointed!! And you even get to hear a little of Connor Crais crooning in your ear!

Love the story

This is my first book by this author. It’s a beautifully written story. Sweet. Funny. Meaningful. I must finish the series. I can’t wait to read the other characters stories and which way the author will take them.

I found my new favorite narrator...

Connor as Nick...swoon!

Ok. So the storyline kept me drawn in and waiting to see how it all plays out. There was one point that almost had me tuning out completely. Daria. Her attitude throughout the book (especially in the beginning) had me wanting to reach out and slap her. The character had a "I think everyone is wrong" mentality that had me wishing Nick would put her in her place more often. Now towards the end, I was happy to see how it was worked out. I just never got the true emotion from the character as I did with Nick.

Will still like to see how this series plays out for each band member. Can't wait to see a story on Ian!

I loved this story

Dalia - I liked her. She's not a push over, she's a force, she doesn't care if he's a rock star. She knows what she wants.
I really enjoyed this audio book. The narration was excellent. This was my first with both Connor Crais and Jennifer Blom. I loved them both!!
Connor even sings and that was awesome! I love it when there's random singing in audiobooks.

This is totally worth a credit - you will not regret it.

5 Star story!

What a great book! This was recommended to me by numerous people that said I just HAD to give it a listen. Well, I am so very glad I did! I loved Dalia and Nick's story. Really all of the characters were interesting and the way this was written made me want to know more. Definitely looking forward to the next book.
Both Jennifer Blom and Connor Crais were absolutely amazing in this with how they performed their characters. So good and showing the characters emotions throughout the book. Also, Connor sings in this and it was so good!

Pleasantly surprised!!!

I totally didn’t expect to like this book as much as I did. Story was a different angle than most & narration was great - I was unfamiliar with Connor Crais but I’m now a fan. Great book & definitely worth the credit!

Good book

These characters have depth and the storyline is engaging. My only complaint is that the narrator on the audiobook really shouldn't try to sing the songs. His voice isn't bad, but there wasn't really a melody and he didn't stay on pitch. Hurt a music nerd's heart a little. Maybe he'd be better with music to back him up. Despite that blip, I enjoyed the book. Might try the next one in ebook or paperback, though, to avoid the singing.
