Good story and characters

I liked this series, especially since they include other family members from previous books. Easy listening.

I am absolutely loving this series and these yummy cowboys. If you hvaen't read the other books in the series do your self a favor and go get them.

Arrgh . . . Lame!

Having loved Brody’s story, I wanted to hear Boone’s. I was so very disappointed in this listen. Boone & Mae’s lines seemed stilted and weird.

The narrators were so bad - please don’t let them quit their day jobs. Both Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro had creepy, drawn out, icky voices in this listen. It’s difficult to make romance and sex scenes awful, but these voices managed to do just that. I would have run from Boone’s voice, so whispery and effeminate. He was not portrayed as a strong Pace brother. Mae’s voice came across as a dried up, smoker’s voice, barmaid.

I listened to the end, hoping for a fabulous HEA, but these two narrators made the listen a real struggle.
