The Thicket did not disappoint!
I’m ready for the sequel! I can not say how excited I am to have found Noelle Ihli. I just finished Ask For Andrea and this was my second foray into Ihli’s world. While it was somewhat predictable at times the different characters and perspectives they had made this book one I was not able to put down. No spoilers but I will definitely think twice about visiting a scary amusement park. Our narrator fell flat at times but was not annoying to listen to. I’m dying to read Run on Red but the sample immediately did not sit well in my ears. Kindle, here I come!

Good but kinda boring
The story was mediocre. I suppose teenagers might like it. The narrator went from droll to half whisper as if she had to read quiet so she wouldn’t wake someone. I kinda rooted for the psycho. He was the only character who was slightly interesting.

the story was an excellent example of classic slasher horror mixed with a serial killer crime story.
the narration was terrible and nearly made me quit the story a couple of times. The narrator's blame and choppy reading of the story all but killed the intense moments of the story and almost completely destroyed the creepy aspect of the story.

Great Story Terrible Narrator
I loved the story and intend on buying more books from this author. The narrator has a great sounding voice, however it was so monotone and drab. It really makes it difficult to completely focus on the books storyline.
