Publisher's summary

Jake Wethers' life is perfect. He's married to the woman he's always loved, and they have three beautiful children. The Mighty Storm is still going strong, and his record label is thriving. But not so long ago, Jake's life wasn't perfect. The unexpected and untimely death of his best friend, Jonny Creed, had sent an already out-of-control Jake spiraling down further.

Drug addiction. Alcohol. Women.

Jake was in the fast lane to following Jonny to the grave until Tru Bennett walked back into his life and changed everything. But now, the past that Jake left behind has come back to find him. And what the past brings with it is going to be one of the biggest challenges he has ever faced.

Contains mature themes.

Very intriguing series, music lover or not!

I felt lost, put on hold when book ended. I’m anxious for next in series; hope and strongly encourage Ms Towle further the excitement & intrigue of the Mighty Storm. She is now one of my favorite authors! Thank you

I never thought we would get to hear from Johnny so this was a pleasant and tragic surprise. What a novella.

Good story!!

Where does The Storm rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Yes, too bad it was a short story.

Any additional comments?

Too bad Johnny died, it would be good to write a story about his teenager son!! High School romance and his son is in a local band trying to make a name for themselves.

Short sweet story with some of my favorite characters.

Short sweet story with some of my favorite characters. I love Jake and Trudy, and this gave me a chance to read about them again.

Excellent addition.

Excellent addition to the series. I almost wish it was longer. Really got into the new characters and would have liked to learn more about Storm.

I liked it, but wanted more

I just wished the story was longer. I needed and wanted more. Maybe the next book will answer some questions if Storm’s adjustments

Blah

I found this short story to be slightly interesting in that it provided a little more back-story and insight to previous situations, but the ended seemed abrupt and lacking. I don't think it really added to the series.

hard to get through

finished it. the story was pretty interesting. it was hard to get through because of the narrator. although he has a great voice, his reading as a female is painful. his speaking as a female always sounded like they were crying. no smiles in this story. it was mostly quite sad. the ending was extremely sad. it did clarify why the men decided to not tell storm about his father's death. I was glad to understand that. did I mention how sad the ending was? also, there was a lot of unnecessary talking. hearing about Jake's daughter playing princes for example. that really added nothing to the story. nearly a quarter of the story was like that, just took up space.
