Oh my heart
This is a heartbreaking yet beautiful story. I loved Carrie and River and how they were able to learn to love and live again. Definitely will listen to again. Narration was wonderful as well.

Maybe an advisory on abuse issue
I thought it was good I say an advisory because how she writes on abuse is so well done having worked in this field I just think people who may be triggered need to know before they read she wrote very well on the subject so good on her please write more the more information out there the better

I really loved this book. It is a classic story of domestic violence. Carrie gets away from an abusive ex. The only thing is this: Sebastian York only narrates about 20% of the book. So if you are buying this book JUST for S.Y. please be advised. The female narrator is also very good.
