I don’t know, I just think there’s too much miscommunication between guys and girls. I mean, no one knows what the fuck is going on. We need to have the discussion. We need to vent it and get it out in the open,” I said, grabbing my drink from the bedside table.

_______ sat on the edge of the bed and put his shirt back on. “What do you want to know?”

“I just want to know what guys are thinking. I mean we have sex and stuff and nothing lasting ever comes of it,” I said, taking a cigarette out and lighting it. I knew I shouldn’t be smoking in the room, but I was too drunk to care.

“I don’t think I should say. We don’t know everything girls are thinking. I think some things are better left unsaid.”

“I want to know. I’d prefer shit to be clearer, because I’m always confused,” I replied. I could tell he was still a bit sexually frustrated, but he seemed okay to chat.

“Go ahead then, ask what you want. I’ll try give it to you as straight as I can. But don’t hate the messenger,” _______ responded, taking the champagne from my hand and having some.

“I won’t, promise. So why do guys act so interested and then not get in touch at all? ?” I asked."

A MUST!

I totally love love this book. It truly explains our everyday love life and struggles. It reminds you not to forget self love above all.

Not the best

While it is not the best storyline there is something refreshing about hearing everyone’s sides of the stories

It related so much to me, that I needed it for what I am going through.

not what i expected but not bad

at first i thought it was strictly a self help but it was a self help book interwene with a relatable story. some parts were a bit too goofy for my taste but overall i dug it

The modern breakup book

For anyone who has spent some time reflecting on modern day dating and how to set boundaries for themselves, this book won’t really have any eye opening facts that’ll change your life. It might manifest what you already know though.
For women who constantly fall for the wrong guys and really don’t know why - this might be a good place to start and think about your relationships and yourself and how it’s all connected.

great for women today dealing with break ups and understanding them and how to heal.

This story was really helpful in my own current situation.

It was so nice to hear things from so many people’s perspective, told in a story. It really helped me to see the parallels in my own relationships and recent break up. I was involved with a narcissist, and in the past, I never knew what the traits and gameplay was all about. But after reading several books, things became clear. This was kind of like a wrapup of all the new understandings I have gained. i’m extremely grateful for this book, and how it was laid out. Thank you so much!

Healing

This book helps to see the way through a modern break up - all the angles I faced were placed into perspective & I wasn’t alone. This book spoke to me.

This was just okay. Not as much insight as I thought there would be for a break up book.

A little different than I am used to but relatable

At first, I wasn’t sure I would like it. But it became more and more relatable regarding the way most of us feel now a days regarding relationships. Good message if you happen to be in the same level of disappointment regarding relationships.
