I have this ebook in my 'fav to hate' file. Here is the typical Greek alpha who is having an affair with a woman who used to work for him. She finds out that she is pregnant. He believes she is the company thief. The night she leaves the love nest she is abducted and held for ransom. He leaves New York. Several months later he is in town just long enough to do some work and to fly out the next day. He absentmindedly watching TV when he hears her name mentioned. She had been found after a botched kidnapping. And now she is five months pregnant. What happens next is the story line. Even listening to it here. Narrator was good. I still will put it back in my fav to hate file.

Greek Tycoon Romance

I enjoyed this quick, easy to listen to Audiobook. Even though the plot was pretty basic and predictable, the author still did a nice job of portraying passion, lies and deceit. I liked the ending and the reader did a good job.

Predictably Wonderful!

A good clean read written by Maya...... I prefer my booms more hot n steamy but for those who dont , this one still has a great storyline and interesting characters....

I find I like the oldies but goodies best of all

I have read most of Maya Banks books, but have gone backward to this series, which I missed. It reminded me of something I have contemplated when reading her current work. It is as if there are two authors in Ms. Banks’ mind. Her early books are well organized and well written. Her later books can ramble and contain countless run-on sentences. She repeats the same thoughts and feelings repeatedly. I continue to read them out of loyalty, but I do not enjoy them as much and am sometimes disappointed. It isn’t the less steamy story which is the defining difference, as her earlier BDSM and other more erotic stories are considerably different from more recent work. I hope that there isn’t a health issue impacting her cognitive and executive functions.

This book was really well done. It wasn’t a very original theme, but that is almost the definition of the genre. I read them because they make me feel happy as this one did. I route for the characters. I count on knowing that no matter how bleak things might seem for the hero and heroine, they will work it out in the end. Life doesn’t make those as same guarantees. I think it was smart to rerelease these books, and I am glad that I read this one. Well done.

Quick listen

I’m not crazy about the narrator. The story is entertaining enough though. It’s worth a listen, just not the best you’ll ever hear.
