Hide yo’ kids!
Do not let your kids listen to this one! It’s just way too spooky!! I haven’t felt the creeps like this since I watched “Are you afraid of the dark?” as a kid. The author and narrator does an excellent job of reeling you in to “the magic” …be warned!!

Wow
I was persuaded to give this a try. I didn't think it would scare me but it did. In fact it scared me more in eight minutes than longer horror audiobooks manage in hours and hours. Give it a go!

Creepy from the start..
Ok so I almost didn’t listen to it just from hearing the music at the very start, it definitely ‘sets the mood’.
I like how the narrator sets out the rules for listening (which luckily I was already doing), if followed, I’m sure it gives a whole different horror experience.
It kept me on my toes throughout, wanting to listen more but also wanting it to end.
It’s interesting how something can make you feel that scared without any actual visuals in front of you.
If you enjoy the thrill of feeling frightened sometimes (I know some of you out there also have that weird tendency), then go for it!
Would definitely like to listen to more stories by this author Andy Hannon!

Rushed to turn on the light
Found the opening music reminiscent of The Omen. The actual narration was like something from the 40’s. I followed the narrators instructions and at the end I rushed to turn on the light.

Different…. in a good way
Did not expect that!
It starts off with a true fact about reading, and the magic of reading something for the first time. Then it changes, and the ending is scary. But, I will let you, the listener come to your own conclusion or possibly conclusion’s.

Goosebumps
Really enjoyed the idea of following rules whilst listening, it adds a different dimension to the whole thing instead of just simply listening. By following the rules it pulls you deeper into the story and actually gave me goosebumps, making the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and arms, purely at the thought of being immersed into an idea that you're not fully in control of. Will definitely be interested in listening to more.
